Today on The Jeff Foxx Radio Show online. I put the spotlight on young up-and-coming R&B artist. Luke James, Americansinger, songwriter and dancer. Born in Orleans, Louisiana, James began his musical career singing background for R&B artist Tyrese and later writing song for recording artist such as Chris Brown, Britney Spears, Justin Bieber. James released his first mixtape, #Luke, in 2011. The critically acclaimed single "I want you" earned him a Best R&B Performanance at the 2013 Grammy Awards. His debut studio album, "Made to Love" is scheduled to be released this year.
Also a very Talented and Eclectic group of musicians called "ONE OF A KIND" a R&B/hip hop/jazz fusion group first created in 2002 but finally incorporated in 2009 by the way of Charles "CP" Caldwell and Dwayne "Deacon" Jackson. The newest members of the group Leon "Big Lee" Harris (2006) and Nashaun "Ms. Ripa Burrell (2009) are lyrical gurus that were asked to join the group due to their musical talents. Ever since 2009, they have been writing and creating real NY style music. Their individual creative sparks are amazing, but combined... they are ablaze.

At the same time, she maintained a semi-professional career as a singer, initially in gospel and R&B groups after college, then, when she came under the tutelage of blues singer Carrie Smith, in blues and jazz. The vice president of the International Women in Jazz organization, she performed extensively with jazz groups in the New York metropolitan area. Eventually, she was able to record her own album, Pretty Blues, released by Consolidated Artists Productions in 2006.
