The premier lyricist born August 10, 1984 originally from Brooklyn, NY home of one of the greatest rappers the NOTORIOUS B.I.G. S-ROCK is able to capture his audience with his old skool vibe and his witty lyrics. He has been a lover of Hip Hop since the early age of 10. Growing up his father aka “Master B” was a well known local DJ. This allowed him to be exposed to all different types of sound and music especially Hip Hop. Rappers Jay-Z, Tupac and DMX have inspired him. He believes they have a unique style and keep it real in their music. His future vision for Hip Hop is to bring back some of that old skool flava of time when you could rap and be yourself.
Since the start of pursuing his career in 2003, S-ROCK has delivered memorable music and has performed at various shows which seems to leave his audiences wanting more. He began to make a name for himself in 2007 when he had songs (Slow Bounce, We Shinin’) placed on NY Wizard’s “Cars Gone Wild DVD v.3”. Following the release of the DVD S-ROCK continued to enter various showcases and perform at many different venues. By doing this he landed himself an interview on New York’s 90.1 street fm radio station and began to build a fan base. Later in 2007 he released his mixtape “Now or Never” which was able to strengthen S-ROCK as an artist as well as play a factor in the growth of his fan base.

I was a huge fan of the battle rap sport when I was in my early twenties, but now I can honestly say that today the battle rap culture has become a cesspool of hot fermented satanic trash, that has spread with the rise and popularity of youtube. Currently, it is successfully poisoning the minds of the black youth while at the same time solidifying the ignorant and inferior stereotypes of black men as in the days of the minstrel shows .

Lancaster, Pennsylvania is the sort of town of which there are many hundred all across America: post-industrial, blue collar and, on occasion, more than a little bleak. As is so often the case though, it is in these relative backwards towns that authentic, compelling creativity truly thrives - the monotony of the landscape punctuated by brilliant flares of art. FROM ASHES TO NEW are one such flare; a thoroughly modern rock band wielding both a state-of-the-art sound and an old-as-the-hills work ethic. Formed barely two years ago by vocalist, programmer and creative mastermind Matt Brandyberry, the sextet consists of the cream of Lancaster’s underground scene. With the assistance of producer Grant McFarland, FATN set about molding their rap/rock hybrid into a sky-scrapingly monolithic proposition. And if recent four-track EP Downfall was a glistening opening gambit, then the forthcoming full-length album will radiate with the fire of a thousand suns. A fearsome mix of contemporary metalcore crunch and soul-searching rap, the band are already punching with a heavyweight strength that belies their so far brief career. It’s a potent approach galvanized further by the background from which the band all come from. Blessed with honesty, integrity, grit, determination and, most vitally, a genuinely devastating arsenal of gut-mangling tunes – FROM ASHES TO NEW have got all the ingredients to turn your world, and the entire scene, on its head. DJ DMD, the creator of such southern secular rap classics like So Real (which featured the late DJ Screw & the S.U.C.) and 25 Lighters, re-emerges after a self-imposed hiatus from the music industry. After releasing 4 critically-acclaimed independent albums through his old indie label, DMD decided to make a change in his life's direction...and with his music. His new company, e5 entertainment, is the vehicle he intends to use to release music that's "good for the soul and bumps in the trunk." On the heels of the remake of his classic 25 Lighters by Rock-n-Roll Hall of Famers ZZ Top, DJ DMD re-enters the music business with his own remake of the same classic...the testimonial #25BiblesOnMyDresser (featuring Bizzle & Jarrod Phillips). Reinvigorated by a new mission - which is to inspire a generation to consider using their hiphop talent to positively affect the world - DJ DMD will bring his experience in quality production and song construction to a genre geared at offering the world hope through hiphop.
