Today we will be choppin it up about the NBA Playoffs. Where will Rajon Rondo's next destination be? Who you wit between Mayweather and Pacquiao? Was Tom Brady wrong for not visiting the White House? Is Stephen Curry the best shooter of all times? Name the most influential HIPHOP ALBUM of all times?
Through April 23, three series are three games in, while the rest have played two. I'll run through each series to this point, along with some of the headlines that have been created since the playoffs have began, such as the Rajon Rondo saga.
In the Eastern Conference, everything seems to be holding true to form, but I thought Toronto would put up more of a fight.
Out west, it looks like I gave Portland too much credit, while those doubting the San Antonio Spurs should look back at the last five years and simply ask themselves why they thought now was the time the defending champs would crumble.
With teams from two sports embarking on a journey to be champions, you're sure to get tons of asinine drama. Well both the NBA playoffs and the Stanley Cup playoffs are providing tons to keep Mike "the Buzz-saw" Asti and George "the Howitzer" Gerbo busy.
Before we get to the postseason action, there's some drama stemming from a team already in the midst of their offseason. Scott Brooks has been fired by the Oklahoma City Thunder. Mike and George argue about the future of the Thunder franchise. Mike feels this organization is headed for disaster and isn't even an attractive job anymore. George is keeping the faith. Does this impact the futures of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook in OKC? Also, all signs point to Rajon Rondo and the Mavericks parting ways. Why did it get this bad? Can his antics actually be defended? Either way, it's surely fun and entertaining to watch Rondo act a fool.
Is the NBA's Eastern Conference Cleveland's to lose? Are the no star team ball concept Hawks the Cavs toughest test? What about the Wizards? How many teams are true contenders out west? Despite such a great season, will a lack of size eventually be the downfall of Golden State? Do the Clippers have what it takes for a deep playoff run? Has Houston found their best gameplan to win?
The Western Conference is wide open in the NBA, but is it down to only a couple of real threats in the NHL? Does any other west team have a shot at stopping a collision course of Anaheim and Chicago for a chance at the cup? Pavel Datsyuk is the Red Wings savior and the Caps are a bit different this year. Oh and, the Penguins problems go well beyond their play on the ice.
It's the Howitzer and Buzz-saw Show, conquering sports radio, one day, at a time....
Tonight on the program, Justin Pinotti of UpAllNight and UpAllNightNews.com, joins the program and will give his thoughts on which players will go where in the NFL Draft! We will also recap the NBA Playoffs and his thoughts on Rajon Rondo and what Bryan Nolen calls “the cowardness behind his action.” All of this and more as we are LIVE!

TONIGHT ON THE SHOW: The guys discuss the weird, fanless Chicago White Sox-Baltimore Orioles game earlier today which was closed to the public due to the Baltimore riots. The Houston Rockets social media manager was fired for a "distasteful" tweet toward the Dallas Mavericks. And speaking of the Mavericks, Rajon Rondo was left out of the playoff shares! Billy Donavon seems to be leaning towards the Oklahoma City Thunder job, and he seems to be the Thunder's first choice. And the debate will be on.....again.....who will be better? Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota? And if Floyd Mayweather loses against Manny Pacquiao this weekend, what would that do to his legacy and brand? Also on the show, GoDaddy will end their sponsorship with Danica Patrick after this season. And apparently Adrian Peterson wants to be a Dallas Cowboy....possible prank call from that? We'll see! And with the UFC suspending Jon Jones and stripping his title away, the guys discuss if the violent sport of UFC should have a code of conduct policy. It's a jam packed show, Miami! You can call into the show at (929) 477-1592 and you can tweet the show @andrewrpowell or @305SportsNLife. You can follow Darrin Williamson @Godschild530 and Eric Robinson @_seemyvision.
