We bring you our inaugural BlogTalkRadio broadcast of North Brunswick Raiders Baseball, as the Raiders(8-11) look to close out the regular season on a high note, when they host the Ocean Spartans(10-9), live from North Brunswick Community Park in North Brunswick, New Jersey.
North Brunswick will also look to qualify for the state playoffs for the seventh straight year, and need a win to have that chance. On top of that, with another victory, head coach Ryan Lilis will get his 100th career victory, if the Raiders can win this one.
North Brunswick will also try to continue a 14-inning scoreless streak going from its pitchers, as they have shutout their opponents, 21-0 in their last two games.

It is once again time for North Brunswick Raiders Baseball, as the Raiders participate in the Greater Middlesex/Monmouth Coaches Summer Baseball League(17U).
We are live from Community Park in North Brunswick, New Jersey, as the Raiders host Middletown South from Monmouth County in an interconference game.
Head coach Ryan Lillis will use ths short summer season to evaluate his underclassmen, and try to fill some vacated roster spots for next year.
There will be 10 live broadcasts on the King James Radio Network. With the graduation of senior lefty Mike Pfeiffer(6-1, 2.27), who takes over as the ace of the pitching staff? Coach Lillis will also take a look at the up and coming talent from North Brunswick, such as sophomores Anthony Lupo, Nate Facey(4 RBIs in 10 at-bats this spring). Matt Maranca and Anthony Vasquez. Can the Raiders bounce back from their 12-2 loss to Bishop Ahr last Wednesday?
Brian Pelszynski(5 RBI), Bryan Taveras(3), and Anthony Lupo(3) have been the big run producers through the first 2 games of the season. Can Taveras make a serious bid for a spot in the outfield? Steven Bloyed is also making a bid for more playing time next season. Can Anthony Lupo continue his fast start, and win the second base job in 2014?
North Brunswick pitching has surrendered 21 runs in their first two games. Somebody has to step forward, and take a leadership role on the pitching staff. Will that start to happen in game #3?

Raiders Rewind goes into its second week of the spring season, and we start with the North Brunswick Lady Raiders softball team trying to get into the win column, when we had our live game broadcast from North Brunswick Community Park, as it was North Brunswick vs. Perth Amboy. Take a listen to our post-game interview with senior left-handed pitcher/first baseman Dorie Porwich, who took the circle in an emergency relief appearance.
North Brunswick Baseball faced a virtual must-win situation against JFK at Guido DiTorrice Field in our live broadcast, and we had a chance to catch up with staff ace Mike Pfeiffer, who gave a masterful performance to keep North Brunswick in the GMC White Division race.
We also review the rest of the week for both teams, and look ahead over the next couple of games.
