This will be Episode 1 for R B Waters on Everything.
It will serve two functions, firstly to test the capabilities of my iPhone for broadcasting.
Secondly, to introduce myself and my show.
I am R B Waters, I plan to have shows where no subject is off limits. Hence, R B Waters On EVERYTHING.
This show will be me "getting my feet wet" and beginning what hopefully will prove to be broadcast excellence for years to come.
Some topics on this broadcast may include the Bowe Bergdahl situation and other failures of the Obama Administration. No topics have been fully mapped out yet, but this situation is on my mind so it will most likely come up.
I intend to improve equipment over time, this first show will be created using my iPhone 4S through Verizon Wireless (Prepaid, so I get screwed out of Visual Voicemail features, but, I digress).
So, welcome and please offer some feedback when you've listened to this.

Noel Gourdin - R&B 2:15pm
Soul and R&B singer Noel Gourdin (Gor-Deen) emerged on the music scene with his number one hit song “The River” which stayed on the Urban AC charts at number one for 15 weeks! Noel’s childhood was not a traditional one; he was born in Brockton, MA but spent his summers with family Pachuta, Mississippi. The result is a man who is city to the heart but southern to the soul! Noel scored a deal with Sony Music at age 24, his first exposure to the vocal arts came in church and he was introduced to the larger audience of soul music by his father (who introduced him to the classics, such as Otis Redding) and his brother (who turned him on to the sounds of new jack swing). Noel is influenced by classic soul as well as the contemporary sounds of R&B and hip-hop. Making his music is a seamless blend of each genre.

Their current E.P was mixed by Grammy Award winning New York sound engineer Russell Elevado and mastered in LA by Dave Collins.
Sheena O. Murray - R&B Artist 3:15pm
Without echoing words that were said before or painting a picture that you may have eyeballed numerous times, we’d like to introduce to you: Sheena O. Murray. Her story did not begin at the age of five as a musical child prodigy, nor was she a member of the church choir, belting out notes every Sunday. Hers is a simple story, not one of particular intrigue or “wow”. It is a story of a girl who meets music, falls in love with music, marries music, bears the seed of this union with melodies and lyrical prowess.
A Jamaican native, Sheena O. Murray migrated to Brooklyn, New York at the age of five and then moved to Florida at the age of nine. She began her musical journey while in High School as a theater geek performing in stage plays and musicals. She then transitioned, after those four years of campy musical theater performances, to vocal endeavors.
Music is a major escape from life for many people around the world. It has to have a life of its own that the audience tends to feel for, and relate to. The artist must deliver a heart-felt performance, and attractive musical elements in order to make the cut. Maine, a singer from Long Island, New York the Central Islip area, is one of the few that have managed to deliver the goods. The releases of his single 'I Can't Explain It' was an absolute success, as it soared to the top of the radio airplay charts. First debuting at no.2 and then taking over the top spot. In December 2013, the record was announced to be #1 on the internet radio station powerhouse IBFU Radio. The song was only on the air for 21 days before conquering the charts. It would remain on top for the next 5 weeks to come.
Growing up competing in talent shows and singing in church, Maine's evolution into the music game would come naturally, He had God-given ability to paint realistic pictures of everyday scenarios in the streets, which he personally coined as Ghetto R&B.

S. Rob - R&B Artist 3:15pm
When asked to describe his sound R&B singer Sean Robinson, also known as "S. Rob" says, "it's called, "The New Grown Folk Music." There's a new breed of adult. The original Hip Hop generation that still likes a little knock, a little "boom bap" under their music. That's who I'd like and am trying to appeal to. We don't have any new male R&B artist that appeal to us, the closest we have is Trey Songz and he's dope, but he's marketed to a much younger demographic."
Born on February 14, 2000 in Philadelphia, PA, pop and R&B singer Zakikyah Whitfield is the baby of her family who they affectionately call Za. She grew up listening to music and watching videos of artists such as Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige and Chris Brown. She has always had a natural ear for music and raw talent filled with soul.
As a toddler Zakkiyah remembers her mom singing Musiq Soulchild’s “Love” and her singing along. She was always quick to learn lyrics to songs after only hearing it once. “I realized I wanted to sing when my sister heard me singing Mary J. Blige “Can’t Be Without You.” I was only six so she asked who was singing,” says Zakkiyah. At the age of 9, Zakkiyah heard of Justin Bieber’s story from struggle to super stardom. His story propelled Zakkiyah to work harder and follow her dreams.
Zakkiyah began performing at school and talent shows. “I was nervous but when I got on stage my nerves went away. I felt like I was home,” says Zakkiyah. Following her first performance, her friends and family gave her a hug and encouraged her to keep up the good work. Although Zakkiyah’s peers applauded and seemed to love her first performance, she began being bullied at school for being Muslim and appearing different from the other girls. Her mother encouraged her to come out of her shell and share her voice with other girls who have experienced bullying.
The teen wishes to inspire girls with low self-esteem to feel confident and pretty. Zakkiyah will release her first single “Pretty Girl” on iTunes Summer 2014. Zakkiyah will perform at schools and anti-bullying events to continue to spread her message of low self-esteem amongst girls. She also plans to launch a foundation for girls and record a fun pinktastic video for “Pretty Girl.”
