    "Access Granted" with Tony Grant

Actor, writer, producer, and Grammy-nominated musician Tony Grant has become one of the most sought-after, multi-faceted talents in the entertainment industry today. In 2014, Grant can be seen starring as “Phillip” on the OWN Network and Tyler Perry’s original comedy series “Love Thy Neighbor.” The show follows a middle class family and their daily joys, struggles, triumphs, and fumbles. On the film front, Grant recently wrapped production on the independent drama THE LAST PUNCH opposite Keith David, David Banner, and Karon Joseph. Directed by Jesse Vaughan, written by Michael Soccio, and based on true events, THE LAST PUNCH tells the story of James Cornelius [played by Grant], an Atlanta hustler turned boxing promoter who used his street smarts to navigate the shark-infested waters of the 1980’s fight game. On the run from the F.B.I. Cornelius must find a way to make Muhammad Ali’s last fight, The Drama In Bahamas, a reality. Grant will also be returning to music in June 2014, with the release of his full-length album Access Granted through his label, TraFace Music Publishing. After eight years since his last album [Grant Life], Access Granted will showcase Grant’s internationally known powerhouse vocals, passionate lyrics, and original love songs that bring heart and soul back to R&B music.

"Queer Spirits: Empowering the Tribe": Gay Culture Body Issues w/ Oberyn Kunning

    in LGBT

Join your host Elliott Skaggs with special guest Oberyn Kunning on "Queer Spirits: Empowering the Tribe" on discussing body image issues in gay culture. Many gay men feel they are objectified and/or marginalized both in their gay culture experience. Issues of body take on varying multi-sectional issues of age, race, size, objectification, and even gender expression. We escape a heteronormative mold often to encounter the homonormative one. This episode we will discuss these issues and more as they relate to gay male body issues.

I am your Host Elliott Skaggs, here is some info on my background:

Elliott is a former activist, academic, and community organizer. He earned his BA degree at Appalachian State University and did his senior thesis on Gay Socialization covering issues ranging from objectification, internalized homophobia, and building models of gay solidarity. He is also a former president and founder of a LGBT student organization at Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.

Joining us today is our guest Oberyn Kunning:

Oberyn Kunning is an activist working along multiple intersections of organizing, including communities of size/Fatness, queerness, feminism, anti-racism, anti-colonialism, anti-Capitalist, and disability. They are a witch, partner, father, teacher, and co-founder, director, producer, and performer at the new queer-occult studio Drewary Lodge.

Throughout the span of human history, pinecones have served as a symbolic symbol of human enlightenment, the Third-Eye and the Pineal Gland used in Kabbala, Freemasonry, Masonic, Yoga, Chakra and Schumann resonance 7.86Hz – 8Hz. What do all of these have in common in relationship with the third-eye?

Tonight Julie Flores and Scott Hensler discuss this topic to the fullest and how dangerous they can all be to anyone who practices it.
