    Kicking things off will be former UFC lightweight champion Jens Pulver. The 38-year-old Washington native is one of the true pioneers of the lighter weight divisions in mixed martial arts. 
    Up next will be former Strikeforce welterweight title contender Tyron Woodley who is preparing to face former UFC welterweight title contender Josh Koscheck at UFC 167 in November. The American Top Team Standout is coming off a tough loss to Jake Shields at UFC 161.
    Tri-Star is not only home to top coach Firas Zahabi and top welterweights Georges St. Pierre and Rory MacDonald, the gym also has one of the top strength & conditioning coaches in any sport in Jon Chaimberg. Fighters and athletes from all walks of life come to Montreal to work with Chaimberg.
    Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans will join us to talk about his recent win over Dan Henderson at UFC 161 and when and where we can expect to see him fight next. Rumors have been swirling that he will take on Chael Sonnen at UFC 167 on the UFC's 20th anniversary show and serve as the co-main event to the UFC welterweight title bout between champion Georges St. Pierre and number one contender Johny Hendricks. A win over Sonnen will put "Suga" extremely close to another crack at the UFC light heavyweight title.
    "The Fight Scientist" Reed Kuhn will help us wrap things up. We will discuss last week's two events, UFC Fight Night 27 and UFC 164 as well as go over Wednesday night's card in Brazil that features a main event of light heavyweights Ryan Bader and Glover Teixeira.

    This week, we're bringing you a special roundtable interview with the artists on the upcoming Bands On The Run Tour - Doc Walker, The Road Hammers, and Blackjack Billy.

    Doc Walker is dropping their eighth studio album - appropriately titled The 8th - on Oct. 21st, featuring the already-hit singles "That's How I Like It" and "Shake It Like It's Saturday Night." It's the band's first full-length without longtime member Murray Pulver, so we'll talk about readjusting to life on the road and how the new material will take shape on the stage.

    As for the Road Hammers, their record Wheels has been doing well since dropping earlier this year. Frontman Jason McCoy talks about some of the differences between performing as a member of the trio vs. his solo tours and a lot more. Noll Billings, vocalist with Blackjack Billy, also weighs in on the band's experiences in Canada thus far and what they're anticipating for this upcoming run with their friends.

    Finally, in CM Academy, we speak with James Boyle, the current executive director of the Halifax Pop Explosoin, who's getting ready for his first run at the helm. The lineup this year features acts like Against Me!, Danny Brown, and our Nov/Dec 2014 cover artists, Zeds Dead.     TUF 19 Finalist Eddie Gordon & AljamainSterling on Alchemist Radio

    Tonight on Alchemist Radio host Bryan Levick will speak to two key members of the Serra/Longo fight team as they prepare for their next bouts.

    Leading things off will be Freeport, NY native and TUF 19 middleweight finalist Eddie Gordon. He will face teammate and good friend Dhiego Lima on Sunday night in what should be a great match-up. Gordon is in Las Vegas preparing for the biggest fight of his young career.

    Aljamain Sterling will face Hugo Viana on July 16th at UFC Fight Night: Miller vs. Cerrone. The Wantagh, NY native was succesful in his UFC debut at UFC 170 back in February where he defeated Cody Gibson by unanimous decision. The flashy bantamweight is 9-0 and his coach Ray Longo told us a few weeks ago he has all the tools to be a world champion.

    Pat Miletich will be inducted to the UFC Hall of Fame this week during the Fight Week festivities. The former UFC champion who went on to coach Matt Hughes, Tim Sylvia and Jens Pulver to UFC championships will also be calling the action for Lion Fight 16 on Friday night for AXS TV. Miletich is scheduled to come on, but there may be a chance that the AXS TV production meetings may run late. If that's the case we will have him on in the next few weeks.

    Atlanta jazz critic Bruce Pulver talks about, and your hosts play, music from some of his favorite musicians from outside the Atlanta area. We will be featuring music by artists Jeremy Davenport, Annie Sellick, Jamie Ousley, Carol Duboc and Gilad Hekselman.

    Bruce Pulver is a lifelong jazz fan. His father, Art Pulver was an insurance salesman by day and a New Orleans-style, Dixieland Jazz Drummer on nights and weekends. Bruce took up the drums himself while still in middle school. After graduating from Florida State with a BA in marketing and a minor in music. Bruce began a career in business. Several years ago, Bruce had the opportunity to combine his passion for music with a love of writing. He began seeking out new live and recorded music and writing music reviews, artist interviews, CD liner notes, concert and venue critiques, promotional pieces and various radio/Internet segments focused on the jazz scene. He also works with young musicians through mentoring programs.

    A contributor to www.jazzreview.com, he also maintains his Facebook discussion group “Jazz Seekers” and supports as much live music as he can fit into his schedule.
