SORT BY Relevancy
This past Sunday, rainbows and glitter erupted on the streets of cities across the continent as equality advocates gathered to march in Gay Pride Parades to celebrate the breathtaking gains in the historic quest for equal rights for LGBTQ citizens. One year ago, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the so-called Defense of Marriage Act (more accurately, the Defense of Heteronormative Marriage By Muddle-headed Sheep Who Just Can't Stand the Idea of Gay). This is also the tenth anniversary of the Massachusetts Supreme Courts game-changing ruling that first recognized the constitutional right of LGBTQ citizens to enjoy the legal protections of marriage. The acceptance of equality has become so mainstream, USA Today covers the topic without batting an eyelash: Gay pride parades celebrate history and marriage.
Unfortunately, the emergence of LGBTQ Equality in the West has triggered a backlash of violent, hate-filled legislation in regions ranging from Africa to Eastern Europe. There is still much work to be done. Join DJ Nika tonight as she shares her personal journey towards self-acceptance. Call in to share your stories. And of course, share your love for the man who ignited our personal pride torches: Adam Lambert. Have you experience one of the Queen + Adam concerts? Tell us about it!!
Weekly talk and music radio inspired by our unlikely muse, Adam Lambert. Dedicated to creativity, entrepreurship, personal liberation. LGBTQ causes, people re-inventing their lives, and music, always music!
Yeah, around the world, the pride parades were going on. And low and behold, San Francisco had some bouts of violence mixed in...how nice.
Teens were dressed with ass cheeks hanging out. How did I know they were teens? My co-worker seemed to be the expert on what teens look like and what they wear...maybe he's a pedo.
Advertisers were out in force. Pride isn't about "pride" anymore, it's about money. And an excuse for people from all colors, relegions, creeds, sexual orientations, to dress as slutty and tastless as they can.
Thank God for my notes app...otherwise, I would forget all my damn jokes and be boring.
It's as hot as balls out and not getting cooler.
Seifeld has comedians in cars...I have comedians in comas! We don't say shit!

A Confederate page where you can Express Your Southern Pride! God BLESS DIXIE AND THE REBEL FLA...G AND ALL OF THE CONFEDERATE SOLDIERS WHO DIED FOR OUR SOUTHERN STATES. Keep those flags flying high and proud!
No, I'm no more racist than the next person. The fact is that the War between the states A had very little to do with slavery. In fact, it had nothing to with slavery until 1863 when Lincoln used it as a political agenda to save his sorry, dictator wannabe butt.
The War Between the States was about state rights. The north was imposing tariffs out the wazoo on the south. Illegal tariffs, I might add.
Sure, the south wasn't perfect; who is? All I'm saying is that they were the ones ultimately in the right in that 19th century fiasco and they took the flack for it because the winners write the history books. No the true history is written by warriors.
If you want to argue with me, please, argue intelligently. I loath hippies.
Just remember two things: 1) THE NORTHERN STATES HAD MANY SLAVES; 2)The emancipation proclamation claimed (because it had no legal authority) to free only the slaves in the "rebelling states." Northerners were free to keep their slaves until the 13th Amendment.
Why does it matter? Because a lot of heroes died trying to defend the Constitution of the United States of America, which was, at the time, still the Supreme Law of the Land in most cases.
It's always important to realize when, where, and how freedoms were eroded. We're supposed to learn from the past, not turn a blind eye.
I SALUTE THE CONFEDERATE FLAG WITH AFFECTION, REVERENCE AND
UNDYING DEVOTION TO THE CAUSE FOR WHICH IT STANDS.

This episode of Pneumatikos will explore a causal link of spiritual suffering and physical disease. Pride is a silent killer. It is undetectable to the untrained eye. There is no physical sign that it is in the heart, but it is a major cause of heart disease. We will study the case of a man who had to fight his pride in order to be restored to wholeness.
Join us as we celebrate 37 years of Pride Festival history. South Florida's Lesbian, Gay Bi-Sexual, Transexual Community (LGBT) has a proud and colorful history of advocating for the rights of the community.
Reading from the Pride South Florida program:
The Pride Festival commemorates the Stonewall riots that occured in New York City in June 1969 which many credit with having launched the national movement for LGBT rights.
Recently released U.S. Census data revealed that Fort Lauderdale is the city with the highest concentration of same-sex couples households in the nation; and the greater Fort Lauderdale area annually welcomes more than 1.3 million LGBT visitors.
Our First guest Norm Kent, Publisher of South Florida Gay News (SFGN) was a successful attorney and advocate for many years defending gay men who were falsely accused of breaking Florida 's lewd and lascivious laws. Many remember him from his morning radio show on AM WFTL-1400 and 850 AM radio. He started the Gay news paper Express in 1999 and in 2003 began South Florida Gay News (SFGN). The newpaper has a very successful reputation in the community and the nation. We will also later welcome Elizabeth Fernandez from Human Rights Campaign.
Let's learn together how we can make this community and all communities safe and prosperous for all.
June is LGBTQ Pride Month. Despite the popular images of wealthy LGB celebrities, many queer and trans* people are low-income. Employment discrimination, lack of health insurance, homelessness, and other factors make LGBT people particularly vulnerable to the impact of economic inequality. Gay and lesbian families (especially the latter) are significantly more likely to be living below the poverty line than heterosexual married families, and children in gay and lesbian households are twice as likely to live in poverty as compared to children in homes with heterosexual parents. And given the legacy of racism in the U.S., the statistics are even worse for LGBT people of color. Other concerns include: trans justice and violence against LGBTQ youth. A lifelong journalist as well, he has co-hosted the national "Gay USA" television program weekly since 1985 and writes regularly for the Gay City News and Gotham Gazette. in The Bible
Pride is sneaky, because most of us don’t know what it looks like in action. Pride makes you stubborn even when you know you’re wrong. A prideful spirit rears its ugly head most often when in conflict with others.
Pride keeps you from saying you’re sorry.
Pride makes you think you’re invincible.
Pride, will cause you to act out of character simply to make a meaningless point. It can also make you disrespectful to people in authority even when yu know you are wrong.
Pro 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.
THERE IS HOPE, IN THE NIGHT!
