THE LIFE OF LOVE RADIO SHOW WITH LAKISHA THOMAS
SPECIAL GUEST MARY PRIDDY
Woman Of God & Author of "My Love Story: Freedom From Drugs and Prostitution
From the start of her life the devil tried to take her out in my mothers womb and tried to take her out many times there after. She survived only because the Love of Jesus rescued her time and again. She was raised in church but lost her way in her teens and ended up as young adult walking the streets working for the nights work so she could pay for drugs. She was used and abused and put out like a piece of trash all because she was so lost in the web of addiction and then Jesus rescued her and set her free. Her story is about freedom & the power of the redeeming love and grace of Jesus. Listen LIVE tomorrow at 12:00pm (Eastern Standard Time)
I will interview Mary Priddy
I was a victim of sex trafficking over 11 years ago. I was addicted to drugs and one thing led to another and before I knew it I was working in spas and then got deeper into the web and I was escorting then being pimped and walking streets.
I was lost for so long in the darkness and I just gave up and into the pain.
I was rescued by prayers of loved ones and crying out to God on the floor of a crack house and he met me there!
The years that followed were so hard because I was so afraid and I did not dare trust men any man! If I was in a group of people for to long and it was quiet I would have a panic attack and have to Leave because when I was in the darkness, the people would intentionally get me high and bad things happened or I would be so out of it laying down and things would happen and I would just pretend I was passed out because I didn’t have the strength to fight.
It takes one flicker of hope to start a blaze of freedom through prayer and raising your voice!MPShare this please! So that we can be used to spread the Love light of Jesus onto the Darkness of Sex Trafficking! And spread the Love light of God onto those in Need of Hope!- See more at: http://whygodreallyexists.com/archives/mary-priddys-testimony-of-how-jesus-saved-her-from-a-life-of-sex-trafficking#sthash.DpOI6DyB.dpuf

Ms Mary Priddy The early part of Mary's life was rich with family and love. Growing up attending church with her brothers and grandparents, Mary learned how to be a disciplined Christ follower at a young age. She was very close to her grandparents. Her grandfather, who was a preacher, exhibited genuine care and concern for his family and church body. Her grandparents served an important role in Mary's life. They showed her a faithful marriage, the constant acceptance of a loving Father, and the honoring routine of diligent believers. Mary re-calls singing hymns on the way to church in the car with her grandparents.
Mary would sing the same hymns to comfort herself years later on an urban street as she looked for the night's work... At the age of 12, Mary's life took an unexpected turn. As an unruly cry for help and attention after the devastating death of her grandfather, Mary took to self-harm to manipulatively extract herself from her home environment.
Her family had not coped with the death of her grandfather easily and every comfort she knew was falling to pieces around her. She wanted out. So she decided she'd do just that - get out. After an intentionally superficial cut to her forearm and a call to 911, Mary was placed in the state public care system of Tennessee.
That's it. Love conquers all." Mary Priddy's journey is an emotional story that shows the power of Christ in every way. Her countless times escaping what seemed to be inevitable death, swirl around her mind as faint yet still vivid memories - coming and going, from clarity to confusion.
Speaking with her as she unloads years of struggle and pain - you'd never know those dark years exist. She sits, smiles, and calmly breathes. She shares graphic details and startling memories with a rhythmic pace and warm hum to her voice, a peace that can only be found in Christ.
As she prepares to move into her first apartment with her two daughters, she can typically be found working at the local hospital, hanging out at the house where she and her family currently reside, or attending her home church. She is a woman of endless joy who has faced extreme sorrow and yearns to make her story known. "Even if this just helps one person. That's enough. That's worth it." Mary explains
This episode of TNL, we'll be recapping the AVP 2015 Awards, our own DJ Roueche was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, along with our College Volleyball Weekly correspondents and of course everything else in the world of Volleyball.
Silver Medalist April Ross and Lee Feinswog from Destination Volleyball join TNL.
He is an American volleyball player on the United States men's national volleyball team. He played on the AVP tour from 2000 to 2006 and then resumed it in 2009. He led the U.S. National Team to a gold medal in the Beijing Olympics in 2008. In 1998 and 1999, he earned AVCA second-team All-America honors. And in 2013, he was named "Most Valuable Player" of the Men's CEV Cup in the European CEV Cup volleyball club tournament.
He said of his faith, "I grew up in a family of faith, so I was introduced at an early age to the reality of God and Jesus. I didn't question it. After college, however, the more I studied, the more I began to question everything. I didn't take anything at face value. But I remember, in my most skeptical moment, I couldn't get past the awe and wonder of creation and the reality of God."
He continued, "Just as my faith is a process, so too is my understanding of what it means to be a Christian athlete. I believe that God is most glorified when I use the gifts He has given me to the best of my ability. He has given us all special gifts and I believe it brings Him pleasure when those gifts are used to the maximum. To me this means that I can compete to win with utmost intensity and it can glorify Him. Faith and life with God is a daily process and God communicates with me throughout the process...God has used the sport of volleyball to teach me how to be a better man. It is my hope that as I compete and try to excel and be the best player and teammate that I can be, that God will be pleased and glorified. This is a great reminder at the beginning of a new season to pursue greatness (no matter what you are doing) in the name of God and clinging to the strength He provides. Not with the end goal of winning—though it can be a goal and is a part of the process—but rather to become more like God and glorify Him."
His name is Reid Priddy.
