SORT BY Relevancy
Democrats and independents who had not voted in the Democrats' primary could vote in the Republicans'. They probably care more than Republicans like to admit that they themselves care about legislative pork, of which Cochran has served up heaping amounts during his 33 years on the Appropriations Committee. This bright red state has the nation's lowest per capita income, the highest federal funding as a percent of revenue, and a surplus of cognitive dissonance between its professed conservatism and its actual enjoyment of the benefits Cochran can now continue to shovel its way. In everyone's mind, they are justified and rational for their beliefs. We, however, are different. We KNOW we are justified and irrational. Maybe. Or it could just be that we are the lone voice of reason in an increasing cacophany of craziness. Today's episode of The Questionable Intelligence Report will feature the first edition of an exciting new feature called "Blacksplanations with Kristy P". Our resident lovely lady and fine black woman Kristy Peterson, as the Spokesperson for Black America and Owners of Ladybits Everywhere, will attempt to explain to her honkerrific cohosts the appeal of Nick Cannon. We will also continue our discussion of Miss Sooey Pork, the main voice of offended righteousness against the White Supremacy of the Colbert Report. We'll also maybe mention some other stuff, so JOIN US!
*also, there will be no Manatees whatsoever, stupid.
15 The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; 17 but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.”
18 The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.”
19 Now the Lord God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. He brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name. 20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
But for Adam no suitable helper was found. 21 So the Lord God caused the man to fall into a deep sleep; and while he was sleeping, he took one of the man’s ribs and then closed up the place with flesh. 22 Then the Lord God made a woman from the rib he had taken out of the man, and he brought her to the man.
23 The man said,
“This is now bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh;
she shall be called ‘woman,’
for she was taken out of man.”
24 That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.
25 Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.
Proverbs 18:22-The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the LORD.
This segment will be the first Bilingual segment on BTR. Why because people really need to understand fully that chemical-foods like coke, chips, Wonder Bread, donuts, chicken nuggets and Captain Crunch are bad for you and that broccoli, spinach, chicken (with the skin on), steak, pork, olives and cucumbers are healthy foods? Sadly, at this point in America, the answer is yes. That’s how successful the brainwashing of incessant marketing has been to convince us to eat unhealthy foods. And, that doesn’t bode well for the health of our children and future generations.
The vast majority of Americans have no idea what real food is, have no taste for it, won’t spend the money on it and, won’t feed it to their kids. It is no coincidence that the vast majority of Americans, and their kids, are so sick.
The disconnect between our toxic diets and the resulting sickness is stunning with Neurofeedback we see miracles. Good Protein Sources
Protein can help you shed those unwanted pounds -- and keep your belly full. But it's important to eat the right amount and the right kind of protein to get its health benefits.
Seafood is an excellent source of protein because it's usually low in fat. Fish such as salmon is a little higher in fat, but it is the heart-healthy kind: it has omega-3 fatty acids.
Stick to the white meat of poultry for excellent, lean protein. Dark meat is a little higher in fat. The skin is loaded with saturated fat, so remove skin before cooking.
Milk, Cheese, and Yogurt
Not only are dairy foods like milk, cheese, and yogurt excellent sources of protein, but they also contain valuable calcium, and many are fortified with vitamin D. Choose skim or low-fat dairy to keep bones and teeth strong and help prevent osteoporosis.
Eggs are one of the least expensive forms of protein. The American Heart Association says normal healthy adults can safely enjoy an egg a day.
One-half cup of beans contains as much protein as an ounce of broiled steak. Plus, these nutritious nuggets are loaded with fiber to keep you feeling full for hours.
This great and versatile white meat is 31% leaner than it was 20 years ago.
Fifty grams of soy protein daily can help lower cholesterol by about 3%. Eating soy protein instead of sources of higher-fat protein -- and maintaining a healthy diet -- can be good for your heart.
Research shows that including a source of protein like an egg or Greek yogurt at breakfast along with a high-fiber grain like whole wheat toast can help you feel full longer and eat less throughout the day.
