Christians are often accused of being arrogant because we claim that Jesus Christ is the one and only way to salvation. How should Christians deal with this? Should we deny exclusivity? Is God really represented throughout the various religions of the world? Is Christianity really superior to other world religions, or is that just Christian arrogance? With these and many other questions, Dr. Marx will ask the question: "Is God like a porcelain sink?"

NEW TECHNIQUES SHOW
Marlaine Verhelst from the Netherlands joins us today to share her over 40 years of clay sculpting knowledge.
We talk about working with porcelain, paper mache and air dry clays; the different benefits and down side of each; and how to handle and sculpt with them.
Then we look at the contruction process of building a three-dimensional art doll.
If you are not familiar with Marlaine's figures then prepare to be amazed! They are beyond your imagination. Not only unique but seem to come to life when you see them, which Marlaine believes they all have their own personalities and I am sure with your first look so will you.
She handcrafts them completely from their faces to their very detailed body parts. Her hands alone are a work of art! We all know how hard hands can be. Her textile knowledge allows her to create exquisite outfits for her dolls.
She is part of the National Institute of American Doll Makers also and is sharing her passion of Dutch Doll art history everyday.

Tonight, on a thin blue line edition of the Never Daunted Radio Network, We spend the first half of the show talking about Johnny Law, and how two recent incidents continue to put a blight on the public's perception of cops in general. First up, in the aftermath of the release of video depicting the Sept. 29 "biker gang" attack on a family, more information is coming out that there were as many as six NYPD officers amongst the riders, none of whom were undercover, but rather off duty. The most explosive claim is that one of the officers was pictured smashing out the back window of the victims' car! We'll parse through the details, as things get even worse. Next, more evidence that 911 is a joke, as a woman seeking medical attention for her boyfriend says the call she placed resulted in officers entering the couple's Georgia home and shooting the man to death. So much for "Protect and Serve". Later, because no one seems to remember how they ever got laid in college, a Georgia Tech fraternity is under fire for a leaked email that "instructs" fellow members on "luring rapebait". We'll take a look at the impromptu, but detailed guide on how to pick up girls at parties has caused what could possibly be an unneeded firestorm of attention.
And finally, Obeying your Thirst takes a whole new turn as Sprite has been identified by Chinese scientists as potentially the best hangover cure available, this according to a study that examined a number of beverages. We'll see how the classic Limon concoction can help you keep from praying to a porcelain god. All this and more, tonight on the Never Daunted Radio Network!
PAUL TIMMAN, whose celebrity clients include Angelina Jolie, Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Marc Anthony and Mark Wahlberg, will be joining us tonight as we explore the art of tattooing. He'll be talking with Xena and our funny, articulate and occasional co-host Thea, who arranged for Paul's appearance on the Salon.
Paul is an award-winning tattoo artist, based in Los Angeles, known not only for his celebrity clientele but his style and artistry in body art. He also developed the art of porcelain dinnerware with designs based on his tattoos. That got him on the Metropolitan Home Design 100 List. Paul's goal is to "transform tattooing into everyday objects," so he's also begun working with ACME Studio which produces and markets writing instruments, stationery accessories, jewelry and more. Paul's work has been featured on fab.com and the CBS News and in the Wall Street Journal and New York Times, among numerous other newspapers and magazines. His work can be seen on the website Images of Paul Timman .
Join us as we learn about the history and heritage of tattooing, why Paul prefers "old school technique," his contemporary porcelain dinnerware and designs with ACME Studio. And of course we'll ask the first question for every person new to body art--"Does it hurt?"!
Tune in this week and join the PA Radio crew for another interesting episode.
