First off, Happy 2015! It's the first show of the year, & this time we're previewing the AFC playoffs. Both matchups, including one between division rivals, have already transpired during the regular season. The last time Baltimore played in Pittsburgh, they didn't score a lot of points & got beatdown as a result. The last time Cincinnati visited Indianapolis, they didn't score any points & got thumped on, too. But as you know what they say, "In the playoff, it's usually different." But how different will these matchups be? & will we see Tom Brady & Peyton Manning duke it out for another Super Bowl appearance once again? How many touchdowns will Ben Roethlisberger throw against the Ravens this time? Rocket will make his predictions New Year's Day @ 12:30pm. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.
It's about that time, folks. The 2014-15 NFL playoff picture has finally been set & it all begins this weekend. Many teams were unfortunately eliminated, & some have managed to secure spots. We got four wildcard games taking place this Saturday & Sunday. For the first time ever, ESPN will broadcast one of the wildcard games, which will be the Cardinals taking on the Panthers Saturday. The other NFC matchup will be between the Lions & Cowboys, which will air on FOX Sunday. For the Cardinals, they'd hoped to be the #1 seed & become the first team in NFL history to play at their own stadium for the Super Bowl. Now they'll have to do it the hard way. As for the Panthers, they have come alive since Cam Newton's car accident just a few weeks ago. For the Lions, there will be no Ndamukong Suh this weekend due to an apparent suspension. & as for the Cowboys, how healthy will Tony Romo & DeMarco Murray be? Rocket will discuss these two games & make his predictions on New Year's Eve before the ball drops. Showtime is 6:30pm. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.

The Rose Bowl will feature the defending national champions in the Florida State Seminoles out of the Atlantic Coast Conference as they are set to clash with the Oregon Ducks out of the Pac-12. Will the Heisman jinx slow down Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota? Will Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston be able to lead his team to consecutive national championships? Will Alabama head football coach Nick Saban once again get the best of Ohio State head football coach Urban Meyer once more? I will discuss this and more on the 300lbsofsportsknowledge Show!!!!
