The Interpersonal Connection ~ Spiritual Enrichment ~

    in Spirituality

Inspirational and Encouraging Words of Wisdom, Spirit and Life To You! ABOUT SPIRITUALITY If spirituality can be considered a movement, it is one of the fastest-growing in the world, and one of our most talked-about topics. Perhaps it is because it has the power to be a conduit for self-definition, born of an inner longing to cultivate a purposeful life and a deeper connection to the universe. There are hundreds of interviews featuring world-renowned professors, holistic health professionals and authors, like famed New Ager Deepak Chopra, and spiritual certified life coaches like Bishop Matthew A. Barber. You are able to converse with kindred spirits journeying along on how they pursue higher levels of consciousness, through light, energy, angels, prophecies, alternative medicine, pilgrimages and more. Unlike some religions, spirituality allows for interpretation: your third-eye awakening could manifest in the calm that comes from spending time in meditation, practicing yoga, preparing a sustainable meal. Yes, there are also plenty of other means to help nourish your mind, body, soul and spirit.

ED FALLON "CLIMATE MARCH: AN ODYSSEY OF SURVIVAL."

    in Culture

ENVISION THIS: Pilgrimages that connect with people and the land in a way that makes our interaction more personal, more meaningful, more spiritual.

In 2014, Ed Fallon helped lead a core group of 35 climate activists on a 3,000-mile journey from Los Angeles, CA to Washington, DC. Ed walked every step of the way to share the experience and help empower people to take climate action NOW! He has been called “The hardest working man out of politics.”

In March 2015 he will walk again, this time the Iowa stretch of the proposed Bakken Oil Pipeline, roughly 400-miles, holding  public meetings to listen to area residents’ concerns about the proposed pipeline and share his own concerns about climate change, water quality and eminent domain. “People need to understand the seriousness of the climate crisis,” says Fallon.

Asked why he chose to walk the pipeline route, not simply drive it, Fallon says: “Walking puts you in touch with life and with people in a way that driving doesn’t. I want to touch the soil that would be damaged. I want to feel running through my fingers the water that might inevitably be contaminated. For me...this is a pilgrimage of sorts, a chance to connect with people and the land in a way that makes our interaction more personal, more meaningful, more spiritual."

Ed's presentation involves three parts: 1. Recounting the hardships, challenges and huge logistical obstacles of moving a large group of people on foot coast-to-coast.  2. Introducing us to some of the people he meets along the way - people impacted by the climate crisis, and people creating more sustainable ways to live in the New Climate Era. 3.  Encouraging us to make changes in our personal lives, to lobby local and federal political and business leaders, and to become active in a local organization working on climate change.

Ma-na-ta-ka (Place of Peace) with Lee Standingbear Moore

    in Religion

    From August 14, 2004...

For thousands of years this sacred site was known as Ma-na-ta-ka (Place of Peace).

Elders of many nations from the four corners of Turtle Island made long pilgrimages to this magnificent place to perform ceremonies and share the gift of the curative waters called No-wa-sa-lon (Breath of Healing).

They received other special gifts like healing stones, healing clay and healing herbs to enhance their journey through life. Read the fascinating and true saga of Manataka and see how hundreds of tribes, Spanish Conquistadors, an American President, Mayan and Lakota spiritual leaders, and the Rainbow Woman all played a role in the exciting Story of Manataka.

The Manataka America Indian Council exists to preserve and protect this sacred place.  Welcome to our village!  Please come into our lodge and enjoy the gifts we have for you.

Relationship Revelations Series: Where have all the good ones gone?

    in Relationships

Join me, Michelle Manders and Rev. Faith Parent Hendrickson as we talk about a question I have certainly been asked dozens of times ~ "Where have all the good men/women gone?" We talk about how the modern world has played a massive role in changing what we see, what we want and what we go after as a self-conscious and sadly vain society. We also discuss the influence of main stream media and what we as individuals need to do in order to allow others who feel like us to feel safe enough to come out and be seen and heard. There are a lot of good men and women out there. You just need to know where to look and what to look for, and we offer some tips and advice on this. We invite our listeners to e-mail us with their expereinces or questions so we can address them and offer guidance and support where possible. Send your questions and comments to faith@faithparent.net or, leave your comments at the bottom of this page.

Michelle Manders is a professional Channel, Teacher, Astrologer, Soul Mentor, Soul Coach, Pigrimage Leader and Founder/Director of Palace of Peace and Palace of Peace Talk Radio. Michelle leads Sacred Pilgrimages to Sacred Sites worldwide in support of purging ourselves and Mother Earth of the darkness and negativity that keeps our world trapped in pain and suffering. Michelle's co-host Rev. Faith Parent Hendrickson is a 6th Generation Psychic, Medium, Higher Consciousness Coach and Spiritual Teacher.
