5/8 Knicks NBA Playoffs Rangers/Isles NHL Playoffs MLB Derby
I regroup after a week off to deliver all of the latest and greatest in the world of sports on jayreelz Final Word, Wednesday at 8pm.The Knicks have made it to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in thirteen years. They'll have their hands full as they play a young, physical upstart in the Indiana Pacers. I'll take a look at their series, go through the rest of the Association, and a brief postmortem on the Brooklyn Nets as their season came down to a Game 7 loss at home vs. Chicago. The NHL postseason is underway. The Rangers are looking down the barrel of a 2-1 series deficit against the Washington Capitals. While the Islanders first playoff in six years find them even at 2-2 against the conference leading Pittsburgh Penguins. I'll review everything going on the ice as all of the conference quarterfinals are well underway. I'll also check in on the Mets and Yankees, the rest of the baseball landscape, recap the Kentucky Derby, and discuss my thoughts on the NFL draft and the upcoming 2013 schedule. Violence: Countdown to Self-Destruction!
It's been a minute folks, but Boogie and I are back on the front porch and eager to take on some real issues. In this show we will be talking about violence and the inevitable path being constructed straight to the belly of self-destruction. Mothers killing thier babies. Children being molested by those whom they should be able to trust. Hatred being spewed through the barrel of shotguns and pistols claiming the lives of many. Poverty crying bloody tears. Youth embracing the gang-life mentality rather than accepting a more promising reality. Daily we hear story upon heart-wrenching story about how crimes of humanity have evolved into giants in our world. What can we do to bring about a change....promote the evolution of peace? Let's talk about it FAM.
