An internationally known writer and speaker, Phil Cooke has actually produced media programming in nearly 50 countries around the world. In the process, has been shot at, survived two military coups, fallen out of a helicopter, and in Africa, been threatened with prison. And during that time – through his company Cooke Pictures in Burbank, California – he’s helped some of the largest nonprofit organizations and leaders in the world use the media to tell their story in a changing, disrupted culture.
According to former CNN journalist Paula Zahn, Phil is rare – a working producer in Hollywood with a Ph.D. in Theology. He’s appeared on NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, and his work has been profiled in the New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The Wall Street Journal.

Phil Jelinowski
Phil Jelinowski is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, producer and sound designer from Mississauga, Ontario. He started making music in the late 90s and was influenced by electronic music artists such as Nine Inch Nails, Legion of Green Men, Download, Coil, Delerium and Front Line Assembly. Wire Fences is Phil’s first electronic music project which was founded in 2008 as a creative outlet and as a means of coping with and escaping the harsh realities of life.
Phil was heavily influenced by the poet and writer Charles Bukowski and his music explores some of the same themes such as misanthropy, imprisonment, escapism, surrogacy; vicarious living and social issues such as poverty, drug addiction, alcoholism, and domestic violence.
Wire Fences is completely independent, choosing not to be exclusively affiliated with any particular label. As a result, I rely heavily on support from listeners like you. The music is free to copy and redistribute. All I ask is for you to help me spread the word. Comments and feedback are welcome.

Alan Cooke has been an actor writer and film maker since the 90's. He was born in Ireland and moved to New York in 2001 for 7 years. He currently lives on the west coast of Ireland. He has appeared on stage as an actor in Ireland London and New York. He has written three books and made several short films and one feature documentary. His narration voice has been heard around the world in voice overs and films he has made. He won an Emmy for his writing on a film he made called HOME about his journey in New York.
