Baking Basics with Jenni Field Pastry Chef Online & The Hungry Goddess

    in Women

With the holidays full steam ahead, The Hungry Goddess is turning to the most awesome Jenni Field aka Pastry Chef Online for tips on baking basics, the art of the holiday pie and more to make your holiday baking sensational!

Don't miss a bite!  Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 1:30pm eastern!

This is the first in a new series of Hungry Goddess Edible Podcasts!  More on The Hungry Goddess

    About Jenni Field:

First and foremost, I am a teacher. I left the formal education field
after 16 years teaching Special Education to attend culinary school
at Orlando Culinary Academy, a Le Cordon Bleu program, and
eventually become a pastry chef. I worked my way up from pastry
cook to pastry sous chef and pastry chef and had the privilege of helping
to open an upscale gastropub and set the dessert menu as well as
our signature bread service and bar snacks.

While I enjoyed working in the restaurant business, the teacher in me
missed teaching, so I left food service to pursue a career in blogging,
food writing and recipe development. My background in education
allows me to teach fundamentals and bedrock technique while
    maintaining an engaging tone.

I take great pride in hearing from many readers who say “Thank you!
    Now I understand!”

I live just south of Raleigh, NC with my wonderful husband (The Beloved), our five cats and the occasional foster kitten or two.
