“Leadership is not about titles, positions or flowcharts. It is about one life influencing another.” - John Maxwell
CEO - Title.
Wealth - Power
Popularity - Influence.
Each exists independently, and may also co-exist simultaneously. A title can convey power, but the person with the title may not have or exert power. Wealth can bring popularity, but not only is it not guaranteed, but it may be of the wrong kind. A popular person may not have title or wealth, but they could sway their popularity to gain both.
When leaders and entrepreneurs wake up each day and begin their activities, their focus may be unconcsiouly impacting or pursuing one or all of these attributes, but I propose pursuing influence may be the best use of their time and energy. In this show I will build the case for Influence.

Our topic is: Child Safety 1st: A Parental Appeal! Our conversation will highlight a social issue that is a very dark and depressing reality in this country--Child Sexual Abuse. It can be very difficult to talk about sexual abuse and even more difficult to acknowledge that sexual abuse of children of all ages including infants happens every day. Sexual abuse of children has become the subject of great community concern and the focus of many legislative and professional initiatives.
Research shows that as many as 1 out of 4 girls and 1 out of 6 boys will experience some form of sexual abuse before the age of 18. Our goal tonight is to remind parents that their child or children are at risk of being sexually abused and to be oblivious to this issue puts them at greater risk. Furthermore, we want to make an appeal to parents to put their child's safety 1st by taking a proactive stance to minimize the risks, put safety measures in place and enforce them without wavering.
Join us as we explore recent headlines on child sexual abuse and provide education and prevention methods to protect our children, hold abusers accountable and support the healing process of those affected by abuse.
