Many law students do not realize how broad juvenile law is and the wide array of practice areas it can encompass. It is not a traditional bar exam class, therefore students either elect to take a class that piqued their interest or they stumble upon it in their careers. Judge Anthony Capizzi joins this Quick Take Ohio to discuss how the Ohio State Bar Association's Juvenile Law Committee is visiting law schools in Ohio and connecting future attorneys to the field and updating them on critical issues facing youth and families.
Being a good college student isn't only about making good grades and getting your degree for yourself. It's about helping to advance the knowledge and understanding of others, whether you know it or not. You represent your family, your high school, your town, and many other aspects of your life that may not seem relevant as you study for that Chemistry exam. Let's think a little about the contributions we all make to a better society by doing all we can in college, and beyond.
White privilege is a myth.
Let's look at the facts. Because of the fashionable discrimination known as affirmative action, whites (males especially) are often untouchables in the job market. And examples are legion. Talk-show host Michael Savage has often mentioned that after he earned his Ph.D., he had trouble finding a job in his chosen field and was told in so many words that "white men need not apply." I could also mention a junior-high-school friend of mine whose test score was too low to qualify for the specialty high school I attended and the black student who gained admission with the exact same score. Or read this essay by Professor Louis Pojman, who cites the case of a brilliant Ph.D. philosopher who was denied a tenure-track position because the university in question had to hire a "woman or a Black." Then there is the Dayton, OH, police department, which recently discarded its recruit exam and the scores of 748 people who passed it because not doing so would have resulted in too many whites being hired.
What did the founders think about when it came to democracies? Are we a democracy? If not then what are we? A follower on Twitter is trying to convince me that we are a democracy, and we are going to exam that on today's show.
Also voter ID's are back in the news in North Carolina, we are going to look at this issue on today's show.

you are invited to listen on this pod cast recording on preparing for the Sabbath as we are about to enter a thousand years of holy rest. However the Lord speaks through the Prophet Jeremiah 17:27 that we are not to carry burdens even entering at the gates of Jerusalem on the Sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched. Now this is the original message of the 'Daily Heaven -leys' since 2004 to bring to the world, that we are coming into a higher consciousness, which is the awareness of CHRIST/the Kingdom of God. A book has yet to come through on this deep prophecy seen regularly in the bible. Therefore we may exam why we are not to carry burdens through to the Sabbath, the moments of holy rest in the Lord. Amen.

This is important because it has played a huge role in what i do.
I am a animal rescuer and dog trainer.
I love animals and always have. I also have a great respect for our veterans.
I have been able to combine these 2 passions and train rescued dogs to be service dogs for our veterans. This is a fairly new program I have only been doing this for a few years. This service is free but Im a one man show so im limited on what I can do.
In my job I deal with everything from basic training all the way to dervice dogs.
I am also a student instructor for animal behavior college. This means I teach people proper training techniques.
I am truely blessed. I get to do what I love and I the process I get to bless others. I have made alot of great friends and met some amazing people. I hear some crazy stories and get to see some dogs do some amazing things.
