It is not uncommon to find Pagan high priestesses and celebrants wearing something on their heads, be it a full, face-covering veil, a headdress, a hair-covering scarf or shawl, or even a small, tiara-like circlet.
This week, Kalisara and RevKess are bringing you a panel discussion: Pagan women from many different paths and beliefs who share the practice of using veils and other head coverings in their ritual and/or daily lives.
While we have touched on this topic previously, this time we will hear from those women who practice veiling, discussing the why's, the how's, the when's, as well as the problems that can come from veiling. We will be hearing their stories, many of which embody a quiet strength reflective of the oft-veiled Matron Goddesses.

There is today trouble in America's cities Fathers, Mothers, Politicians, Clergy. Turn from your wicked ways and claim healing for the land today. "The energy of the young is a blessing or a curse on society". As go the youth, as go the future. It is today's adults who creates those curses and blessings on our society daily. First and foremost, the power to make the difference is in the hands of adults, citizens / voters. Every citizen eligible to register to vote must do so promptly. Go now, today, put your name on the books, and when your elected officials here of your activities I can promise you will then have the power to ask for jobs today and receive jobs today. Do not ask amiss. Register to vote, ask and you will you will receive according to scripture.
The energy of the working class always has and always will promote health and wealth throughout the land. When the working class falls out of their element, their misery is visited upon the land, creating negative energy, and the result is one crisis after the other. The energy of the jobless drags a society down.
It is the energy of the corrupt that growths the trouble of poverty for the cities of America. When the corrupt focus on money for self society falls through the cracks. The energy of the corrupt in power in the land causes a curse on society. Those with power speak of tomorrow, when it is today that must be repaired 1st if we are to have a better tomorrow. The energy of the citizens is focused around jobs. To bring the jobs into reality, the energy of registered citizens must be launched into the universe. No one can do everything but everyone can do something. Every eligible citizen and register to vote. Those ineligible to vote this time around and GOTV but talking, transporting others, encouraging fellow citizens.

We sometimes take our topic inspirations from odd places. Shauna Aura Knight's blog isn't al that odd, but the reblogged article she shared early in January might at least seem that way. Are You a Highly Sensitive Person? She shares some very personal aspects of her own hypersensitivity in the following post and also shares how the information may be valuable to people and to leaders. KaliSara and RevKess explore that topic in this edition. Shauna may join them for part or all of the discussion.
UPDATE: We apologizxe for the abrupt ending to the show, both Shauna and KaliSara lost ther connection at the same time. The conversation will continue on February 2nd.

Without a doubt, the clergy is a profession and members of the clergy are professionals. This profession, like any profession, dictates standards of conduct for how its members should dress, speak, and act, both on-duty and off-duty. And, like other professions, it dictates standards of education, preparation, admittance to the profession, procedures for job searches and applications, and retirement. Clearly, Catholic priests and Protestant ministers alike are expected-by their parishioners, friends, hierarchies, denominational authorities, and themselves-to have a distinct kind of training, be certain kinds of people, and perform certain kinds of duties.
Is this the New Testament model for elders (leaders) in the body of Christ?
