Women in Business Overcoming ADD-versity to Grow Your Business

    in Entrepreneur

We return to the Overcoming ADDversity series, part 4 of a six-part series called Manage Her Brain, Grow Her Business with Neuroscientist, Dr. Dennis Maness. Today we continue the conversation:

7 Different Job Descriptions of the Brain & Symptoms that SOMETHING is not Quite right
The role of Neurotransmitters in Relationship to the Brain
What does Behavior Relationship Entrainment MEAN?

Overcoming ADDversity is something I believe I was destined to do, but more importantly what you were destined to do.

You see, it's my belief that MANY women in business suffer from adult ADD and have NO idea how deeply it is affecting their ability to manage their brain to grow their business into a sustainable source of income NOW and create wealth for their family, for future generations to come.

Instead, we go about most days feeling like we're on the Hamster Wheel of Life. Because in addition to running a business, we're running a life: we're mothers, wives, girlfriends, sisters, sister-friends,daughters, and elder caregivers.

Player Spotlight: DE Lynden Trail, Norfolk State

    in Football

Lynden Trail is a game changer with phenomenal speed at 6-6 and a high motor style that wreaks havoc on opponents. Trail was a first-team FCS All-American selection as a junior and is a two-time All-MEAC first-team player. He had 95 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks in 2013.

The former Florida Gator finished the 2014 season with 91 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, and five sacks. He forced a pair of fumbles, deflected four passes, blocked two kicks (one punt and one field goal) and was credited with nine quarterback hurries.

Trail has been invited to participate in both the Reese's Senior Bowl and the East-West Shrine Game, the nation's two most acclaimed postseason college football all-star games. He will be the first Norfolk State Spartan to ever play in the Senior Bowl.

Lynden Trail is a finalist for the Buck Buchanan Award, given annually to the top defensive player in the FCS. Trail was eighth in the voting last season for the Buchanan Award in addition to winning the College Football Performance Award's FCS Defensive Performer of the Year Award.

A rare athletic specimen, Trail is quickly climbing up draft boards and is fast becoming a highly touted player in scouting circles. Lynden joins Joe Everett of Draft Scouts to talk about his college career and the NFL Draft process.
