The gang is back together, recapping the first week of Detroit Tigers baseball. Al, Kurt and HookSlide talk TOOTBLANs, Brad Ausmus' strategy, Miguel Cabrera's 2000th hit, hiccups with instant replay, and sports talk radio hosts upset over paternity leave. Kurt also learns about the Dave Clark Five.
Bless You Boys Podcast 106 has a running time of 58 minutes and features Al Beaton, HookSlide, and of course, Kurt Mensching.
Undefeated! Walk off wins! Small sample sizes!
Brad Ausmus' strategy is compared to Jim Leyland's.
TOOTBLANs for everyone, especially Nick Castellanos.
Relief pitching starts to shake out.
Defense isn't great, but it's better than 2013.
Starting pitching remains dominant.
Offense doing enough to win, but it's no coincidence the Tigers start scoring runs in bunches when Miguel Cabrera's bat wakes up.
Working the kinks out of MLB instant replay. Then again, the NFL has had it for years and is still trying to get it right.
Sports talk radio hosts like Mike Francesa and Boomer Esiason make asses of themselves over the Mets' Daniel Murphy missing two games for paternity leave.
If a plague of death were approaching, how desperate would you be to save your family? The very first Passover was established when all of the firstborn of Egypt were killed, after which Pharoah finally let the Hebrews leave to go into the wilderness to worship God. The blood of an unblemished lamb on the doorpost of the home was all that would save a family from the Angel of Death. This is perfect symbolism for accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. You apply the blood He shed for you to your sins and find forgiveness from God.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 1 Peter 4:10

When J.K. Rowling said, "Rock bottom is the solid foundation on which I built my life," she hit the nail on the head. Sometimes you gotta sink down to the depths to find the energy to skyrocket back up. The good news: You're on the right page to do just that. Let's begin.

In Genesis Chapter 4:7, we find that Cain became dejected and angry because Abel's gift to God was accepted but his was rejected. God tells Cain, "You will be accepted if you do what is right. But if you refuse to do what is right, then watch out! Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master." Cain ends up murdering his brother because he failed to rule over his jealousy. This one truth is that all of us are urged by God to rule over the sin that wants to be a master over us. 7 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.
18 The Lord hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.
19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord:
20 This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.
22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.
23 This is the Lord's doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.
24 This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
25 Save now, I beseech thee, O Lord: O Lord, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.
26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of theLord.
27 God is the Lord, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.
28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.
29 O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
At last count there were over 80 branches of astrology in usage! That's really so amazing considering the minimal uses at its inception.
Most practicing astrologers today use astrology for self awareness, family, and clients. This self-contained system is probably the most complete system. It is interwoven with so many other paths of wisdom as well. Quaballa is rooted in astrology as are Numerology, Tarot, and Feng Shui.
Come join me your host Ozzy and my very special guest Mary Lee Roberts as we talk about what make the world go round as told by the many different types of Astrology out there.
Mary Lee Roberts has been an astrologer, psychic, reader and all around amazing person in the field of astrology for over 40 years now, she has also consented to do a few charts and reading as we go along.. as always it is an open mic so call in and lets have a conversation...
