Why Are Our Rebellious Children Mad With Us Parents: Part 2

    in Radio

Do your adult children cuss at you and call you names and hurt you for being a good and decent parent?

Children that were raised in a structured Home and environment, became adults to live chaotic lifestyles..did they do it to be rebellious? Why do children that become adults, decide to choose the road of disappointments and blame the parents?

Did rebellious adult children that were children think their parents were strict, had other siblings that needed attention that were much younger then they or maybe they just did not want to grow up?

Why some adult children don't want to be nothing like their orderly and structure parents?

Is this behavior a rights of passage to let natural consequences take it's inevitable toll on their lives, when they don't want to listen to reason that would lead them to a much happier road to success and a life that is rewarding.

When children that become adults don't want their parents to be a part of their lives, is it because they want to make them pay for all the good they did in their lives by using structure or order.

Should the parent just let go? Its their lives. Hold them accountable, don't let them make you feel guilty for thier choices. Just don't give up on them.

Join us on a mission to empower parents on how to let go of their rebellious adult children  that love their life in chaos, and live the life you always wanted...PEACE!!

A program that helps families in the no income to low income bracket.

We were quite privileged to witness the great things that Oladipo has been set in this world to do. As we approached the Gambrills Mansion, we were directed and ushered in an orderly manner, given a small goodie bag & the opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful house.

HOW DO YOU PREPARE? WHAT DO YOU PREPARE FOR?   Proverb: 16 1-6 Jer 9, prov 4

The plans of the mind and orderly thinking belong to man, but from the Lord comes the [wise] answer of the tongue.

2 All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirits (the thoughts and intents of the heart).

3 Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established andsucceed.

4 The Lord has made everything [to accommodate itself and contribute] to its own end and His own purpose—even the wicked [are fitted for their role] for the day of calamity and evil.

5 Everyone proud and arrogant in heart is disgusting, hateful, and exceedingly offensive to the Lord; be assured [I pledge it] they will not go unpunished.

The order of a church will determine it's success or failure. Apostle Paul wrote in Corinthians 14 a blueprint for an orderly church.  Today we will "move forward" in Corinthians 14:26-39.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

    The Process319 Unleashed- it's May and It's all About Women, Mom's & Daughter's

    in Christianity

From the beginning Satan has had a hatred for women, and it is not any different today. In a world treats women like objects, and disregards their true value, by limiting their success based on their gender. Where can the find reelief? Well it is not in the church because they to have propogated the same mistreatment the society has heaped on women. Now, women have given up the natural affections with a male. In an era where women would perfer to let others raise her childern verses in still in them family, and moral values, in a society where sex sales, and women are eager to sell themselves to the highest bidder.

As a women there is nothing wrong with pursuing a career, striving for the best, there is nothing wrong with being beautiful snd fashionable in an orderly fashion.

Cleaning and Clearing on Talk-N-Angels Radio Show

    in Spirituality

Cleaning is a practice, it is a chore, it is an activity.  Cleaning makes things better, healthier, more attractive.  Cleaning is a metaphor for what our lives can become.  It makes everything feel better when the space you enter is clean and orderly.  Your body responds to being clean in a way that acts like a breath of fresh air.  To take a shower or bath, or wash the face and brush the teeth is an act of love toward the body and it releases you to become fresh and new, refreshed and energetic.

Clearing energy from your field is the same thing.  It is a practice, a chore and an activity but it is not as noticable to the outside world when you don't do it on a regular basis.  When you don't clean your bathtub, over time, you'll notice it becoming dingy and you will not enjoy using the tub as much as when it is clean and smooth, cleared of all the accumulated things that wash away from our bodies when we bathe.  The energy body can become dirty, too.

This week on Talk-N-Angels, Rita and Mike will be talking about cleaning - as a necessary part of living - and clearing - as a step toward creating space and ferreting out unwanted energies.  Please join us for this conversation with your ideas about cleaning and clearing your home, your body, mind and your spirit.

Black Thoughts and Theory:The Radio Show - The Great Empire of Mali

    in Culture

This week we will explore the Empire of Mali and the Super Wealthy Mansa Musa. A brother that was so heavily weighed down by gold, that he "crashed" the gold market in Egypt in one visit.

Join Asha Zuri  and Alex Primo this Thursday at 9 pm EST as we discuss the Great Empire of Mali that once covered an area larger than western Europe and consisted of numerous vassal kingdoms and provinces.

Because the Empire was strategically located between the West African gold mines and the agriculturally rich Niger River floodplain it was poised to become a major power in the region and beyond.

In addition to the vast wealth of the Malian Empire, education and order were also hallmarks of the day. Visitors were well aware of the organized and orderly rule of the Emperors of Mali. And surely, we are all aware of the books that came from Timbuktu.  Timbuktu was a magnet that attracted both men of learning and men of commerce. Believe it or not, despite the gold, salt and other valuables to be traded in Mali, books were reported as the hottest commodity in Timbuktu.

Call in to talk with the hosts at:

    (917)889-2830(Thursday 9-11 pm ONLY)

    Log on and listen.

And remember, keep it clean and keep it on point. #One

Principles of Non-Violence, Part 1 (The Man in the Mirror #22)

    in Current Events

Looting, rioting, buildings being set on fire, police vehicles being set on fire, throwing rocks, bottles, and bricks at police officers, as well as attacks on news reporters has been taking place in Baltimore over the past 48 hours. All of this is done in the name of "protest" and under the auspices of "demanding justice" over the unanswered questions surrounding the death of Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man, while he was in police custody.

The images and videos coming out of Baltimore are a far cry from the orderly, civilized protest marches led by Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders of the 1950s and 1960s. Even while black men were being lynched, while protesters were being beaten, hosed, and mauled by police, and while the houses and churches of protest leaders were being bombed, the men and women we celebrate as American heroes today never engaged in acts of violence against the government or against other citizens no matter how unjustly and unfairly they felt they were being treated.

The young people who are engaging in the violent and destructive acts that we see in Baltimore (and who did the same in Ferguson) are not heroes. They will be remembered in infamy and their actions will be a black mark on the reputation of the African-American community.

Martin Luther King Jr. and his allies believed in non-violent protest. King taught six principles of non-violence. In this and future episodes, we will look at each of this principles in hopes that, should you find yourself in the midst of a protest situation in your community, you will choose the path of non-violence.

The first of Dr. King's principles is: "Nonviolence is a way of life for courageous people. It is active nonviolent resistance to evil. It is assertive spiritually, mentally, and emotionally."

The author team of "Sonrise in Sweetland" drops by The G-ZONE!

    in Books

Sleepy little Sweetland is getting ready for Easter, and the excitement of the preparations and distractions are enough to provide a little craziness for your humdrum days.

Will and Carlie split up within minutes of getting engaged.
Celia deals with her large family scattered hither and yon, a sudden critical illness, and concern for a foster child with PTSD.
Rozene wonders what ever happened to all the spare time she used to have before marrying Mike and adopting four teenagers.
Nathan grumbles over losing his inheritance, leaving college to take on a menial job as an orderly at the hospital, and his family—or lack thereof.
And Mary Ellen worries that her five active children will prove too much for the elderly and aristocratic Virginia Dansforth Livingston Thompson, especially when an enemy of Virginia causes the angst to rise.

We dedicate this collection of Sweetland shorts to our writing sister and friend, Karen Kosman, who had a story planned and underway for this series when she fell ill. We want her to know how much we missed her joining in on our chats about the series, writing her imaginative stories, and spreading her nature on all of us. We send our get well wishes on her behalf heavenward to our dear Lord and Savior, and we praise God she’s on the mend.
