SORT BY Relevancy
"Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it" (Isaiah 1:18-20).
This episode brings words of encouragement from Psalm 1 about The Blessing of Being Obedient to God. The passage will be read and followed by narration. At the end there will be prayer for listeners.
You may send your prayer request to @BucknerBooks on twitter, so that we may agree; for our Lord Jesus states in Matthew 18:19, “That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.”
It is so hard to resist temptation and the desires of the flesh. But when we look at the penalty of becoming weak its a libility for us and those around us. Many today live a life of sin while we all commit sins daily. There is no one on this earth who is sinless. The benefits of repentence according to the word of God promise us when we repent we hear the voice of God, the Lord is nigh to us, He heals us, He is merciful. Tune in and hear what the Holy Spirit through the Scriptures wants you to hear today.
Our MANAGEMENT MAGICIANS™ series is dedicated to the “magic” that a talented manager is able to create. Our topic is, “Critical thinking staff or obedient staff? Pick only one.”
Who cares? “No. 1 Critical Thinking (found in 9 out of the 10 most in-demand jobs)” (http://www.forbes.com/sites/meghancasserly/2012/12/10/the-10-skills-that-will-get-you-a-job-in-2013/)
What is it? Critical thinking: The objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment (http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/us/definition/american_english/critical-thinking) Obedience: Compliance with an order, request, or law or submission to another’s authority:
What’s the problem? "A survey of HR professionals [...] found that a full 70 percent of employees with a high school education were deficient in critical thinking skills. Even among employees with a four-year college education, 9 percent were deficient in critical thinking skills, [...] and only 28 percent were rated excellent critical thinkers. (Critical Thinking Means Business: Learn to Apply and Develop the NEW #1 Workplace Skill, By Judy Chartrand, Ph.D., Heather Ishikawa, MA, & Scott Flander)
“Critical thinking can’t just be switched on. It may be asking too much of people who have been nurtured and rewarded in an environment where, as one soldier turned civil servant put it, "the lines are your friends . . . it’s safe within the lines . . . stay within the lines." To suddenly change their thinking habits, therefore, we have to provide students an environment where thinking skills can be learned, and then practiced in realistic situations that are otherwise safe and supportive.” (http://www.au.af.mil/au/awc/awcgate/army/critical/roy.htm)

Tonight's program is entitled, God's Body Builders; "Leadership The Jesus Way". I wanted to go back and reinterate some of the great qualities that are displayed by
obedient called out servants, because last week I spent alot of time speaking on the negative behaviors that some of us display, but the truth of the matter is that there are far more leaders who strive daily to do exactly what the Lord says, when He says, and in the manner that He tells them to.
There are far more leaders who pray daily that God will help them to be all that He needs for them to be in order for others to become what He wants them to become in Him. There truly are more called out servants that love like Jesus, teach like Jesus, and serve like Jesus, because they go like Jesus in all of their ways at all times! They are leaders who strive daily to do all things the Jesus way.
And it is their desire to seize ever more might, more money and entire mastery over the whole earth and your humanity for themselves, therefore it is spreading their evil supremacy over the world, supported by its obedient vassals of all kinds who are greedy for blood as well as profit.
As human beings, we become selfish and focus on our personal wants at times. However, it is God's will for us to trust what His Word says concerning us and our lives. We are called to depend on God while realizing that we live for Him and not for ourselves. When you focus on living for yourself, you will have a selfish mindset. When you focus on living for God, you will have a loving and unselfish mindset. Not going ahead of God and humbling yourself to obey Him will cause you to be successful in every area of your life.
The Lord has flooded my desk with topics to discuss. Many are provided through regular press releases others by the direct inspiration to myself by the Lord. We must represent our faith through obedient responses to His Divine inspirations. Tune in and be blessed
