April continues to churn out one great sports story after another. I'll fill you in on everything that's happening Wednesday at 8pm on jayreelz Final Word. The NBA season is coming to a close. The Knicks have clinched the second seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Nets have locked up a first round home court advantage against either Atlanta or Chicago. I'll preview all of the Association's postseason matchups, and how far will the Knicks and Nets go in pursuit of the Lawrence O'Brien Trophy. The Rangers and Islanders have put themselves in good position to secure playoff spots in the East. As for the Devils? They're streaking in the wrong direction as they have an uphill climb to catch the Rangers, although they do have two more games left with them. I'll get in to all of the latest of what's happening on the ice as the NHL season is down to its' final two weeks. I'll also check in on the Mets, Yankees and the rest of the MLB circuit. Plus, a recap of the Masters as Adam Scott became the first Australian to win the coveted Green Jacket in a thrilling playoff vs. Angel Cabrera. 5/8 Knicks NBA Playoffs Rangers/Isles NHL Playoffs MLB Derby
I regroup after a week off to deliver all of the latest and greatest in the world of sports on jayreelz Final Word, Wednesday at 8pm.The Knicks have made it to the second round of the playoffs for the first time in thirteen years. They'll have their hands full as they play a young, physical upstart in the Indiana Pacers. I'll take a look at their series, go through the rest of the Association, and a brief postmortem on the Brooklyn Nets as their season came down to a Game 7 loss at home vs. Chicago. The NHL postseason is underway. The Rangers are looking down the barrel of a 2-1 series deficit against the Washington Capitals. While the Islanders first playoff in six years find them even at 2-2 against the conference leading Pittsburgh Penguins. I'll review everything going on the ice as all of the conference quarterfinals are well underway. I'll also check in on the Mets and Yankees, the rest of the baseball landscape, recap the Kentucky Derby, and discuss my thoughts on the NFL draft and the upcoming 2013 schedule. Navigating you through the sports universe for another installment of jayreelz Final Word, Wednesday at 8pm. The 2013 Knicks season came crashing down in Indiana. What will they need to get to the next step? I'll breakdown the possibilities, as well as, the Conference Finals as Pacers matchup vs. the Heat. And the Spurs already have a leg up on the Grizzlies. The Rangers suffered two rough losses in Beantown. They'll come home to see if they can get back in the series and even it up. April does not let up when it comes to the world of sports. Tune in Wednesday at 8pm, as I deliver all what's happening on jayreelz Final Word. The NBA Playoffs are underway. Both the Knicks and Nets have gotten off to winning starts, as well as, all of the home teams in this first round. I'll discuss what may lie ahead for the locals and check in on all of the other series as the run to the Larry O'Brien Trophy has begun. The Rangers and Islanders are setting themselves up for a trip to the postseason, while the Devils may be running out of time. I'll take a lay of the NHL landscape as we're into the final week of this shortened season, with the playoffs on the horizon. The Mets and Yankees had successful series vs. Washington and Toronto over the weekend. I'll look back on the week that was for the Amazins & Bombers, and delve into the rest of the MLB. The NFL Draft is upon us, as I'll preview who the Jets and Giants may select, and review the big trade that sent Darrelle Revis to Tampa Bay, and what impact the Jets will have come draft night.
