North Carolina Rookie vs Vets Predictions PLUS #WhoYOUgot Minnix vs Bipolar
For our second show with a candidate of 2015, The Social Spitball Show welcomes Ken Spaulding, Democratic candidate for Governor of North Carolina in 2016.
Kenneth B. Spaulding is a native of Durham, North Carolina and has served as a practicing attorney through his law office since 1970. He is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, DC. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, North Carolina in 1970. While there, Ken was the first minority to be elected as president of a first-year law class and became the first minority Honor Court Chief Justice.
In 1978, Spaulding was elected to the North Carolina House of Representatives where he served until 1984. While there, he introduced and helped secure passage of the state’s first Rape Victim Assistance Program. During his six years in the House of Representatives, he pushed for literacy achievement for adults throughout North Carolina. Another important accomplishment while in the North Carolina General Assembly, was that Ken introduced and helped pass legislation that finally allowed public housing residents the opportunity to serve and vote on local Housing Authority Boards.
During Spaulding's private sector career, he helped bring hundreds of millions of dollars of economic investment and development into North Carolina, along with thousands of jobs.
Spaulding is the son of Asa T. Spaulding, Sr., former President of North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance Company and Elna Spaulding, Durham’s first woman and African American woman County Commissioner. Spaulding and his wife Wendy, reside in Durham, North Carolina. Together they have five children.
Spaulding, "The People's Candidate for Governor," was the first Democratic candidate in the race, running since 2013.
Barbara & I look forward to it! Let's get the conversation going...
Abibifahodie (Black Liberation),
Another HBCU joins the effort to push the Obama administration's "Homosexual Agenda" on Black Youth. In 2013, War on the Horizon (WOH) covered Lincoln University's promotion of "homosexuality" and transvestitism to Black Youth. View the (3) part series here:
Lincoln University Promotes "Homosexual Agenda" - 2013: Part 1 of 3

Lincoln University Promotes "Homosexual Agenda" - 2013: Part 3 of 3
Now NCCU is promoting the celebrated transvestite, Lavern Cox, as a legitimate socio-political figure and invited him/her to speak before the Black student body. Black parents are paying the HBCU known as North Carolina Central University to promote tranvestitism to their/our children. Now, part of the tuition to attend HBCU's includes teaching Black children to accept "homosexuality" and genocide.
Tonight we discuss the premise of waging a campaign against this madness. Can we successfully do this? Call in and be heard.
"I have stood up to the president and my party when it's right for North Carolina, noting she supports building the Keystone XL pipeline and has opposed trade deals sought by the administration.Tillis was quoted as saying at a state Republican convention in 2011 that members of a state teachers' association don't care about children or classrooms — only about jobs and pensions. Hagan told the TV audience accusing Tillis of cutting education by $500 million and giving tax breaks to wealthy individuals while leading the North Carolina House. "And his priorities even speak louder than his words."
Tillis recalled Hagan's comments from her successful 2008 campaign, when she criticized GOP incumbent Elizabeth Dole for having voted 92 percent of the time with then-President George W. Bush. And yet, he said, Hagan has sided with Obama 95 percent. "Kay 1.0, Kay 2.0," he said unflatteringly, adding, "At the end of the day we need to say what we mean." http://www.newsobserver

WE AMERICANS ARE SOMETIMES VERY STRANGE. WE TALK ABOUT THE "THINGS AND THE STUFF" THAT WE WANT BUT WE SELDOM LOOK DEEPER IN TERMS OF CULTURE, BELIEFS AND WHERE WE EXPECT OUR LIFE TO TAKE US. WITH A BIG ELECTION COMING UP NEXT YEAR, DON'T YOU THINK ITS TIME TO THINK ABOUT WHAT WE SEEK AS A COUNTRY BEFORE WE TRY TO PICK A NEW LEADER TO FULFILL OUR WISHES? DO WE WANT TO CONTINUE TO LEAVE IT UP TO THE POLITICIANS TO DETERMINE OUR WAY? WOULDN'T IT BE A GOOD IDEA FOR EACH OF US TO TRY AND INFLUENCE THE PROCESS ACCORDING TO OUR HOPES AND DREAMS? AFTER ALL, THEY'VE DONE A PRETTY GOOD JOB OF MESSING THINGS UP SO FAR HAVEN'T THEY?
HOPEFULLY, TONIGHT'S SHORT TAKE WILL GET EACH OF US THINKING ABOUT OUR ROLE AS AMERICANS, THE GOOD FORTUNE THAT WE HAVE TO LIVE HERE AND WHERE WE WANT TO SEE OUR FUTURE. ITS A BIG TOPIC AND WE'LL ONLY TOUCH THE SURFACE BUT EACH OF US NEEDS TO START OUR OWN THINKING SOMEWHERE. NOW'S AS GOOD A TIME AS ANY, DON'T YOU THINK?
