Tune in and join me as I welcome this week's guest.
It's the last show of the year and we'll be live for an after-Christmas show. My guest this week will be author Noah James Hittner. We'll be discussing his books: Something to Give Back, Beyond Victim and Villain & The Modern-Day Buddha.
The Modern-Day Buddha (MDB) is a handy reference guide which offers ten short and impactful techniques that anyone can use on-the-spot to provide a quick, wholesome, and inspiring way to travel through their day-to-day life experience. Quite honestly, it could be called a handbook for wholeness.
Each technique contains an anecdote, accessible insight, and simple suggestions for action steps. All-in-all, it was my intention that the MDB’s message be clearly conveyed in a way that is gentle, efficient, and intriguing.

As in the Time of Noah Pt2 on Sound the Shofar '
As in the Time of Noah Pt2 begins where we really are today. People will not endure sound doctrine. They won't sit still to hear it, they are not interested in it, and they want to be entertained. It is a time of false prophets, false teachers, heresies, violence, chaos, unrest, and a lukewarm church. It is a time when the righteous are vexed in their souls daily from the godlessness and horrific sins going on.

What came first – the photographer or the physician? In the case of neurologist Dr. Noah Gilson, it was photography. At the age of 14 he was given his first SLR camera with black and white film that he processed in the basement darkroom of his home. He won some local photo competitions and honed his skills in a high school photography course. He considered pursuing photography professionally but decided to become a doctor. When his darkroom was stolen out of his college apartment, he focused all attention on pre-med studies and photography was on indefinite hold. But after a 25 year hiatus during which he became a doctor, husband and father, photography returned to Dr. Gilson’s life. The darkroom was soon a thing of the past as he quickly became enchanted with the superiority of digital photography in every aspect of image production. Gradually he filled the walls of his home and office with photos. He uses his photos to calm patients nervous about being in a doctor’s office or in the hospital. His Healing Images are intended to teach people to slow down and take a break from their frantic lives. They invite us to examine at our surroundings and to marvel at the miracle of the mundane. The underlying theme in Dr. Gilson’s photos is the concept of mindfulness which encourages us to treasure every experience and all of its sensations. Many neurologic patients are very ill and the news Dr. Gilson gives families is sometimes grim. Calming pictures placed on the wall of the family consultation room provides him the courage and composure to say what needs to be said as sensitively as possible. Dr. Gilson’s photos are in local galleries and permanent displays at Monmouth Medical, Jersey Shore, and Riverview Medical Centers. After the interview, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for more info.

Did you miss our special on the recent movie, “NOAH”, where special guest, Minister Oshal High and I discussed it’s Biblical inaccuracies, its attempt to portray Noah as the opposite (uncaring, crazy, evil) of how he really was (kind, loving, walking with God) and Hollywood’s overall agenda to make a mockery out of Christianity? To hear us discuss the spiritual significance of this morning’s “Blood Moon” in regards to how it coincides with the Jewish holiday Passover, what Fallen Angels really are and how the entertainment industry portrays them in popular movies like Transformers, Twilight War of the Worlds, World War Z, Star Wars etc, and a call to all believers to prepare for “The Event”…. tune into "The Dedan Tolbert Show" TONIGHT at 9:00pm EST for a special rebroadcast. The animals and birds gathered to Noah at the Ark for selection:
1 At that time, after the death of Methuselah, the Lord said to Noah, Go thou with thy household into the ark; behold I will gather to thee all the animals of the earth, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the air, and they shall all come and surround the ark. 2 And thou shalt go and seat thyself by the doors of the ark, and all the beasts, the animals, and the fowls, shall assemble and place themselves before thee, and such of them as shall come and crouch before thee, shalt thou take and deliver into the hands of thy sons, who shall bring them to the ark, and all that will stand before thee thou shalt leave. 3 And the Lord brought this about on the next day, and animals, beasts and fowls came in great multitudes and surrounded the ark. 4 And Noah went and seated himself by the door of the ark, and of all flesh that crouched before him, he brought into the ark, and all that stood before him he left upon earth. 5 And a lioness came, with her two whelps, male and female, and the three crouched before Noah, and the two whelps rose up against the lioness and smote her, and made her flee from her place, and she went away, and they returned to their places, and crouched upon the earth before Noah.
6 And the lioness ran away, and stood in the place of the lions.
7 And Noah saw this, and wondered greatly, and he rose and took the two whelps, and
brought them into the ark. 8 And Noah brought into the ark from all living creatures that were upon earth, so that there was none left but which Noah brought into the ark. 9 Two and two came to Noah into the ark, but from the clean animals, and clean fowls, he brought seven couples, as God had commanded him. 10 And all the animals, and beasts, and fowls, were still there, and they surrounded the ark at every place, and the rain had not descended till seven days after. 19 And the Lord ordained Noah after his own order, and commanded him that he should go forth and declare his Gospel unto the children of men, even as it was given unto Enoch.
20 And it came to pass that Noah called upon the children of men that they should repent; but they hearkened not unto his words;
21 And also, after that they had heard him, they came up before him, saying: Behold, we are the sons of God; have we not taken unto ourselves the daughters of men? And are we not eating and drinking, and marrying and giving in marriage? And our wives bear unto us children, and the same are mighty men, which are like unto men of old, men of great renown. And they hearkened not unto the words of Noah.
22 And God saw that the wickedness of men had become great in the earth; and every man was lifted up in the imagination of the thoughts of his heart, being only evil continually.
23 And it came to pass that Noah continued his preaching unto the people, saying: Hearken, and give heed unto my words;
24 Believe and repent of your sins and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, even as our fathers, and ye shall receive the Holy Ghost, that ye may have all things made manifest; and if ye do not this, the floods will come in upon you; nevertheless they hearkened not.
25 And it repented Noah, and his heart was pained that the Lord had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at the heart.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
