DAY OF THE PHEONIX:
Steve Marshall was ready. This time there would be no mistakes – no-one to derail the plan, and no-one to step outside his ideas for the perfect Britain. Anyone standing in the way of progress would be brutally mown down. Infiltrating the British Democratic Party was the ultimate solution to the establishment of a Fascist state – a state controlled by him and him alone. Robert Grafton, the party’s current leader, was going to be the perfect tool in the fulfilment of a dream, and would be just one more stepping stone on a path reaching back as far as the end of the Second World War.
Marshall had toiled hard and long at the plan since the debacle of 1992. The Organisation had come within a whisker of success, and but for some strokes of outrageous fortune, MI5 and its head, the imperious George Watkinson, would have been all but consigned to history. This time it would be different.
Neal James takes this sequel to ‘A Ticket to Tewkesbury’ into a frighteningly possible future. A future built upon the use of the ballot box to further the aims of a radical political society, and where the lessons of history are all too easily forgotten.

Many of us have seen or heard some bad preachers that we questioned their "calling". One church in Arkansas failed to properly investigate their pastor and discovered that he is a Level 3 registered sex offender who changed his identity and entered the ministry. His members were outraged when they made the discovery but if they had done some simple background check, their dilemma could have been avoided. What can churches do to prevent preaching fraud from occuring today? Join Pastor Neal to discuss this and other topics of the day.
During a recent radio interview, Bishop Noel Jones defended his relationship status with long term girlfriend by stating that the Apostle Paul was not married. It has long been the expectation by congregationsfor pastors to be married. In light of current divorce trends and pastoral couples ministry teams, is having a married pastor more relevant or effective in the black church? Join Pastor Neal for this and other topics on Zera Today.
Teresa Weatherall Neal has worked for GRPS for 35 years. She started out as a student worker as a teenager. She has worked in numerous capacities throughout the district including as an Administrative Assistant, Coordinator of Compliance, and Co-Director of Community and Student Service. Just prior to her appointment to Superintendent, she worked as the Assistant Superintendent of Community and Student Affairs for seven years.
She has a love for both the students of Grand Rapids and the city itself. She, herself, is a product of Grand Rapids. She comes from a large family with deep roots in the City. She is proud of her education in GRPS and will brag to anyone that she attended South Middle School and graduated from Creston High School.
In her State of the Schools Address, Superintendent Neal made a statement that seemed to resonate with many people in the District and in the community. She stated, “These are our students, our schools, and this is our City.” She truly believes this and is working, and has charged her staff to work, with that statement in mind
As the news of black individuals being overtly harrassed and killed by the hands of law enforcement, the question has come up about the expendability of black life. Blacks lead in abortions, have high homicide rates and other issues. Yet in spite of this, only pockets of black church leadership even speak to these issues without having a personal agenda attached to it. Should it be the pastor's duty to speak to these issues and lead the community in facilitating change? Join in the discussion with Pastor Neal
