And we will also take a look at recruiting for 2015 and how the dynamics of early commitments are having on recruiting and its domino effect on a number of recruits. It is almost time for college football. We are less than 12 weeks away from the start of the season on Thursday, August 28, 2014 in Columbia, South Carolina. This will be a game between Texas A&M vs. The South Carolina Gamecocks. In the mean time we will profile schools that are listed in the pre-season top 25 and we will also spotlight teams that are dominating the current recruiting trail for 2015.
Eric Balkman and Dave Gerczak re-evaluate the ADPs of Christine Michael and Bernard Pierce in the wake of the Marshawn Lynch and Ray Rice news and talk about a fourth-round wide receiver that should be going much higher. Join Host Joe Lisi (former ABC Sports college football researcher) as he speaks with former UW and NFL S Tony Parrish.
Parrish was a standout safety for the University of Washington and was a lethal hitter in one of the best secondaries in the NCAA. Parrish was a dominating safety who loved to come up in run support and dominate opposing ball carriers. He was excellent in pass coverage as well and took great angles in cutting down the field against opposing quarterbacks. He was the team captain of the 1997 team and became a 2nd round draft pick in the 1998 NFL Draft (35th overall) by the Chicago Bears.
Parrish had an outstanding career in the NFL and had 634 total tackles with 5 sacks and 30 interceptions.
Parrish was a workout warrior who was the strongest safety in the league during his tenure. Parrish was a complete safety and able to force opposing offenses to change their game plan because of his attacking style of play.
Parrish played for the Bears (1998-2001), 49'ers (2002-2006) and the Cowboys (2006). He recently played in the Legends of Candlestick Park event on Jul 12th and returned an interception from Dan Marino for a touchdown.

Join Host Joe Lisi (former ABC Sports college football researcher) as he speaks with former CFL and NFL quarterback Jeff Garcia.
Garcia played his college ball at San Jose State and was an undrafted free agent in 1994. He was signed to the Calgary Stampeders during the 1994 season and became a 4-time CFL All-Star and Grey Cup Champion.
In 1999, Garcia was signed to the San Francisco 49'ers and had a great NFL career which lasted from 1999-2011. In his career, Garcia completed 61.6 percent of his passes with 25,537 passing yards and 161 touchdowns. Garcia had almost a 2-1 touchdown to interception ratio (83 career interceptions) and could also make plays with his legs. Garcia added 2,140 rushing yards and 26 touchdowns on the ground.
Garcia played the game with great vision and could complete balls into the tightest of "windows". Garcia was lethal once he broke contain because of his pinpoint accuracy on the run. Garcia was a smart quarterback and made great decisions in leading his teams to victory. He will most be remembered for one of the greatest comebacks in NFL history in 2002 against the New York Giants in the NFC Wild Card Playoff game. Garcia led his team back from a 24 point 3rd quarter deficit to lead the victory over New York 39-38.
Garcia was a 4-time NFL Pro Bowl selection in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2007.
Currently, Garcia mentors and trains younger athletes in high school, college and the NFL. Some of his former understudies are Mark Sanchez and Jamarcus Russell. Jeff loves the game of football and is a positive role model for athletes of all ages. He is a student of the game and teaches younger athletes how to become better players by understanding the mental part of the game as well as the physcial aspect.

Join Host Joe Lisi (former ABC Sports college football researcher) as he speaks with former San Francisco 49'ers cornerback Tim McKyer about his career in San Francisco and the NFL.
Tim McKyer was a lockdown cornerback that was a 3-time Super Bowl Champion (2 San Francisco, Denver).
He was drafted in the 3rd round out of Texas Arlington by the San Francisco 49'ers. He won two Super Bowls in San Francisco and played an important part for one of the best secondaries in the NFL. McKyer had great technique and was able to play bump and run coverage on the best receivers in the league. He played the game with great intensity and heart. In his stellar career that spanned from 1986-1997, McKyer collected 33 career interceptions and had 2 touchdowns.
McKyer played with San Francisco ('86-'89), Miami (1990), Atlanta (1991-1992), Detroit (1993), Pittsburgh (1994), Carolina (1995), Atlanta (1996) and Denver (1997 Super Bowl Champion).
