Dan and AJ are back to talk about the Pinstripe Bowl, a back-and-forth see-saw battle that was every bit as heartbreaking at the end as it was pulse-pounding to watch for four hours.
Now it's time to put the final stamp on the season. The guys will take your calls and talk about what they witnessed on Saturday night. They'll discuss the kicking game, the ending of all endings, and they'll get into the offseason coverage to start.
Be sure to tune in and give us your calls at 646-200-0446!
We are now less than a week from the big game on Saturday - the 2014 New Era Pinstripe Bowl between Boston College and Penn State.
Dan and AJ return to break this one down on the field and look at the matchups between both schools. It'll be a fun chess match on the sidelines between James Franklin and Steve Addazio, but what happens between the stripes? What can we expect?
When discussing Penn State, we'll be talking about the controversy swirling around their program this season. When the season began, the Nittany Lions weren't even supposed to be in a bowl game, still serving the ban imposed by the NCAA. Since then, though, the revelations about potential wrongdoing by the governing body in the wake of the horribly tragic scandal in Happy Valley became public, and the bowl ban was lifted. What kind of impact could that have on Saturday, and what are your thoughts on the matter?
We'll be talking with guests about their thoughts for the bowl game and what to expect out of both the Eagles and Nittany Lions. We'll be taking your calls at 646-200-0446.
"The Mad Scientist of Sports" Nick Ficorelli returns. However, this is not the average everyday sports show he is bringing back to the air waves. "The Mad Scientist" has created his own personal sports lab, and you, the audience, as well as many of his special guests, will be his test subjects. He will throw theories out, and you never know where they will be coming from. He will keep everyone guessing, and he will open his lab to any and all comers. Be prepared for "mad science" of sports at its best.
This week on "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab", we will be replaying FSW's exclusive interview with East West Shrine Game Executive Director Harold Richardson (@shrine_game) from this past Wednesday night. The interview was done by "The Dark Knight of Sports" LaShawn Encarnacion, and it will be done at 1030pm EST. Also, at 10pm, our special guest this week will be Dan Shonka(@Ourlads_Shonka), General Manager and National Scout for Ourlads.com, and one of the premier NFL Draft gurus of our generation. He will be on to talk about his crew scouting this weekends all-star games, and how they go about setting up grades for NFL Draft Prospects. At 11pm, we will have Larry D. Butler III, Division II All American Junior Linebacker at Southern Nazarine University to talk about the past season, his goals for senior year, and the NFL dream. At 1130pm, we will have Aaron Spikes, Senior RB/WR from Bellhaven University in Mississippi to talk about playing for Coach Hal Mumme, his senior season, and his hopes for playing in the NFL.
The beacons are lit, the experiments will be plenty, the test subjects are ready, and "The Mad Scientist's Sports Lab is open for business.
