Welcome to Wake Up with Heather Price Radio with your host Heather Price.
Today I talk about how we can find the answers we are looking for in nature, if only we take the time to be there in the first place.
There are many natural laws that we can learn about when we take the time to observe wheat happens in nature. Such laws can be used as metaphors for life.
The natural laws you will most likely be most family with are the Law of Cause and Affect (or Karma), and the Law of Attraction. However, there are other laws, such as the Law of Oneness, the Law of Bounty & Gratitude, the Law of Polarity, the Law of Reciprocity (Give Back) , teh Law of Ciculation and Cycles, and the Law of Rebirth (regrowth) that can guide us during times of challenge.
While clearing out my back garden today, cutting back old, dead branches, i became aware of how exposed my view into my neighbour/s back yard suddenly became. For a moment i regretted clearing it all away, and then my mind jumped to the future and I could imagine all the new growth that would bring beautiful colours to my back yard. It would be worth the wait and the lack of privacy as my shrubs went about theri natural cycle of regrowth and rebirth.
As I cut down each branch, I could feel something lighten in side of me, as my intention alone to connect to the process seemed to free me. There is something liberating about clearing space and letting in the light.
Listen in here to my reflection on how connecting with nature can help you to be clearer about your life and give clues as to the next step. I will also talk about Shamanic Walks and how these have helped so many people find their way during stressful times.
Have a great day

Yep, this show does exactly that. Hypothetically, of course! Tonight, the Show Legends and I will tackle some controversial laws and rewrite them (to the best of our abilities) to make it fair for everyone. Of course our opinions probably will not synchronize to a harmonious understanding, but it should be fun and insightful to kick around some ideas. Here are some of the topics we'll be discussing:
Men having more birth rights to their children.
Overhauling the child support laws.
Fixing how the government views birth control for women.
These things and more on what may be a controversial Talk 2 Q Radio Show!
"No experts. Just opinions."
Oprah often quotes Newton's Third Law of Motion. For every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction - or - what you put out in the universe comes back to you. Christine McKinley, mechanical engineer, says all the laws of the universe are our friends. Physics for Rock Stars is the book to that nudges us to be aware of the invisible workings around us - and perhaps, keeps us out of jail.
Mind - Body Therapist Marcy Kniffin tells us why sugar makes us crazy.
Astrologer Pamela Cucinell looks at the stars this week.
And - bring joy to the workplace. Geoffrey James of Inc.com helps us handle the Ten Most Difficult Co Workers.
Thanks for tunining in.

Has the benefits of the special laws become a blanket shield for bad behavior by the protected? For example: If a homosexual individual tries to make an advance, there is a hesitance to press sexual harrassment charges for fear that there will be an outrage against "homophobia" rather than getting the details of the case to adequately prosecute the CRIME. Or a woman makes a false allegation of rape, and although the details of the case clearly show the trickery, time is spent "investiating" for fear of an outcry of sexism and discrimination. The need for government protection for certain special interest groups and special classes is indeed a real one, but the raison d'etre for these laws must be protected from misuse for the good of the communities for which they were implemented.
