Did you know that the Great Smoky Mountains is the most visited National Park?  There are more than 9 million visitors each year.  The 2nd most visited site is The Grand Canyon.

National Park Funding & Centennial Challenge

    in Travel

According to the National Parks Conservation Association (NPCA), the spending bill for the National Park Service (NPS) approved by the House Appropriations' Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Subcommittee on June 10, 2015, would increase funds for the agency, but still not meet our national parks’ growing maintenance and operation needs. In addition, the bill includes several policy riders that could undermine critical protections for parks, including for clean water important to the health of park visitors, resources and wildlife.

John Garder, NPCA's Director of Budget and Appropriations, talks with Big Blend Radio hosts Nancy J. Reid & Lisa D. Smith about the funding issues facing our parks, especially with the NPS Centennial occuring on August 25, 2016. Together with one million members and supporters, National Parks Conservation Association speaks for America’s national parks. Since its founding in 1919, NPCA has been an independent, nonpartisan voice working to strengthen and protect our nation’s natural, historical, and cultural heritage. Your voice is needed to help protect, connect, and restore these incredible places for present and future generations.

This interview originally aired on June 10, 2015 on Big Blend Radio's Happy Hour variety show, that broadcasted live from the historic Coronado Motor Hotel in Yuma, Arizona.

    in Spirituality

Music with a Message with Champale Parks Presents:

    Jarrell Hosley & Perpetual Prayze

The vision of Perpetual Prayze is to bring youth & adults from all walks of life and denominations together, to uplift & magnify the Lord through song. With one goal in mind, to snatch souls from the enemy while keeping a perpetual prayze. Also, to extend beyond the traditional form of worship & praise, and set a stage for God to move how he desires wherever we go.

Our mission is to utilize the ministry of music to reach outside the church walls & surpass the city limits to see souls saved, delivered & set free. To create an amazing atmosphere for the anointing to flow, placing our will aside and allowing God to be glorified.
