Murder in the Mountains: The Muriel Baldridge Story revisits the slaying of Muriel Baldridge, the 17-year old high school cheerleader who was found beaten to death on the morning of June 28, 1949 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. After a decades-long investigation that featured an amazing array of twists and turns, including a sensational trial and a controversial verdict, the case remains unsolved. To this day Muriel's murder is considered "the most bizarre and confusing case in the annuals of Eastern Kentucky crime." MURDER IN THE MOUNTAINS-Michael Crisp

I invite you to join us for live prayer today at 6:00 AM as we spea with our mountain moving FATHER. Dial 714.459.3963.
Tonight's Guest is Tanjila Lippett, the mother of murdered Karvas Gamble Jr.. Karvas Gamble Jr. was murdered on January 16, 2013 by agents of the Orlando Police Department (OPD) - namely Detective Chris Bigelow.
According to news articles, "A grand jury investigated the death of then 19-year-old Karvas Gamble Jr., after being shot at a recording studio by Orlando police officers, and found no probable cause to charge the officers involved.
The grand jury did, however, admonish the department, saying the shooting "should not have happened."
"We appreciate the work of the grand jury we will continue to evaluate info provided there in and make appropriate changes," Sgt. Roger Brennan said.
In January, eight officers entered a recording studio on Arlington Street after getting a drug tip.
The officers opened firing, shooting two men. One man was hurt and another, Karvas Gamble, was killed.
The grand jury blamed the shooting on poor police planning and communication.
The investigation found that the men couldn't hear police officers because of their loud music and could not see their uniforms because of the lack of light.
Drugs and guns were found in the recording studio."
To this day, there have been no arrest in the shooting death of Karvas Gamble Jr. Also joining us tonight is Mr. Kareem Gamble (Karvas's Brother) who witnessed the shooting death of his brother, and the Pastor of Garden of Praise Ministries where the incident occurred. The pastor's son was also shot in this altercation.

Tonight is an introduction to next week's show Legalized Murder. Next week I will have as my guest a Viet Nam Combat War Veteran I met recently. WE were discussing the U.S. re-engagement of military forces in Iraq. And he said, yeah, more legalized murder. So tonight I am going to look at the philosophy of war and the progression from war to defense and prepare the way for me to discuss war as legalized murder with an actual combat war veteran.
