It is not surprising that many people with multiple sclerosis report a decline in sexual desire.
C’mon.., with the fatigue, muscle spasms, and bladder control problems, who would want to think about sex?
But, there are steps that can be taken to improve sexual function and intimacy, despite MS.

July 1 has always meant celebrating what Canada is and what it stands for. That is, up until around 2007. Since Emperor stole his "strong, stable majority" it has resembled a Nurmburg rally more than a celebration of things Canadian.
Moreover, the perversion of CBC coverage into a CPC promo video has cheapened and tarnished what used to be a non-partisan, non-political celebration. Now it is a dog and pony show all about Emperor and his "vision" of a dogmatic, autocratic, plutocratic, militaristic lie of a democratic state.
There is little semblance to what I remember of Canada Days past. This makes me want to ask you, my listeners, what you remember about what Canada Day USED to be. I don't remember so-called Ministers who have been found guilty of election spending infractions and being threatened with censure from the House telling us what it means to be Canadian. I don't remember a Prime Minister's wife looking anywhere but at the supposed husband she supposedly resides with. A farce, just like this Government.
Despite this charade of unity and accord, of inclusion and harmony, I invite everyone to share their Canada Day experiences, old and more recent. Let's never forget what Canada was and can be once again.
WE are Canada, not the CPC, not Emperor's twisted vision, not the sullied reputation they have given us. And as always, Fuck Harper
Listen, call, join the chat, share your ideas of what Canada is and should be.

According to Dictionary.com social consciousness is an attitude of sensitivity toward and sense of responsibility regarding injustice and problems in society.
Since when did it become “cool” to go through life without sensitivity for others or caring about what occurred with others? What happened to helping others along? I am not talking to the point of enabling someone or carrying the load for him or her but rather helping others see a better path for themselves, or providing a genuine listening ear, or simply providing support in whatever way you can.
It is never too late to consider others and the challenges they may face. Personally, I do not believe social consciousness is lost on society today…let us see how we can make a difference in someone’s life and share their load. I guarantee you will be glad to reap the same consideration when you face a challenge.
Let us Come to the Table and Talk and discover a positive outlook related to social consciousness….and trust me; we’re going to have fun doing it.

The 7th Step Society of Canada evolved from the 7th Step Foundation in the USA which was founded by Bill Sands - an ex offender, in Kansas State Pen in 1963. It was started in Canada in 1967 in Haney Correctional Institution, British Columbia by Tom Gordon and Jack Lynch. It became Incorporated in Canada as a National Charitable Organization in 1984 - Founding members Pat Graham, Bea Graham and George Myette. They are currently active in British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland. They have a National volunteer board comprised of non and ex offenders and receive a small annual sustaining grant from Public Safety Canada and donations from members to support national activities. Provincial chapter/members operate self help groups in provincial and federal prisons as well as community based support groups. The underlying philosophy is similar to the 12 Steps to Sobriety of AA but is not focused on substance abuse but rather on living free in society. They are not a "faith based" organization but are an organization based on faith - faith that people can change. Alberta is the largest provincial chapter with a 35 bed halfway house in Calgary as well as public education and outreach programs funded by United Way, Alberta Law Foundation and CSC. The Maritime region is the fastest growing segment of 7th Step at present.
