Tonight we will be speaking with Debbie and Randy from NE Doulas. This past weekend we joined the doulas at the No Child Wet Behind Diaper Run/Drive - we were very lucky to be a vendor representing the Pampers Brand at this local event in FDR Park in Yorktown Heights, NY. The whole thing was set up by the Great Moms at Northeast Doulas to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. A big part of the event was the diaper drive to benefit the Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless. We were saddened to hear that food stamps could be used to buy a lobster feast, but not for diapers. People are forced to choose between having the electricity on, or being able to change their children's diapers at a rate that is necessary. It's not a health decision, and babies shouldn't pay the price for economic circumstances. We were happy to be able to team up with Pampers once again and were able to provide a size able donation to the cause. Join us to tonight to hear Randy and Debbie discuss the successes of the event and future plans!
