Molly Whuppie is a Scottish fairy tale collected by Joseph Jacobs in English Fairy Tales. A Highland version, Maol a Chliobain, was collected by John Francis Campbell in Popular Tales of the West Highlands. Jacobs noted the relationship between the two tales, and an Irish variant, "Smallhead," and concluded that the tale was Celtic in origin.

Molly has taught in American private schools, in the ghetto, overseas, and various ages from preschool to aged 19. She has helped open small private schools, and made sure they were compliant with state regulations. She taught parenting classes to recovering drug addicts, teaching them how to parent, thereby allowing the child to be a child. When she was teaching overseas she was involved with transferring a classic international elementary school to International Baccalaureate format including using rubrics for assessments as the school "owners" decided to transform the school. We are pleased to welcome Molly Herron to the show. Molly Herron is a composer whose music is inspired by the complicated, messy sounds of our every day environment and the energy of interaction. Her rhythmically driven work has been called “a beautiful collusion” (Seen and Heard International) and described as “showcasing a wonderful consideration of counterpoint and sound-in-time” (I Care If You Listen). Herron’s music often veers outside of traditional western classical instruments. She works frequently with Baroque instruments and everyday objects and collaborates with instrument inventors to find new avenues for sound. Based in Brooklyn, NY, Herron is an active participant in the promotion of new music through performance, education, and arts advocacy across the country. She is a co-founder and artistic director of the composer collective West Fourth New Music, which has been producing concerts since 2010. The group has been praised for their “exquisitely curated” concerts. These accomplishments make Molly the perfect person to discuss our ongoing narrative of creating music from the raw materials around us.
Molly Remer, women's circle facilitator and ordained priestess working on her dissertation about contemporary priestessing in the United States chats with us about the herstory of Womanrunes, created by Shekhinah Mountainwater; how to use them and why they're special or distinct from other oracle or divination systems. She'll share what she's discovered in her researching contemporary priestessing and we discuss what it might take to actually realize vocational priestessing -- and the difference between priestess as archetype and priestess as profession. Molly is the author of Womanrunes: A Guide to Their Use and Interpretation, Earthprayer, Birthprayer, Lifeprayer, Womanprayer and The Red Tent Resource Kit. She's maintained her Talk Birth blog since 2007 and writes about thealogy, nature, practical priestessing and Goddess at her Woodpriestess blog.

North Carolina born soul-pop singer, Molly Roth can’t help but create art on a daily basis. Starting classical piano lessons at age six, she decided to form an all-girl pop band (inspired by the Spice Girls) with her friends at her 8th birthday party. She made everyone sign contracts saying that, no matter what, they would keep making music together. When her family later moved to California, the band didn’t stay intact, but her drive and determination did. Singing and playing the piano became a solo activity for Molly.
