There's more to misunderstanding than you may realize! Honestly! It's a BIG deal!
We all know that there are misunderstandings between people. There isn't one of us who has not experienced that with the result of varying degrees of devastation. But even though that is enough to ruin any aspect of life, there's a lot more to it than that!
The Two Great Minds are going to go over this subject thoroughly in this week's episode, so don't miss it!
Call in and add your two cents!
Each Thursday on Following The Truth, join Catholic Evangelist Gary Zimak as he offers advice for discerning God's will. Having discerned God's call to become a full time worker for the Lord, Gary understands how frustrating this process can be. The good news is that there are some simple steps we can take to discover what God is calling us to do. In this episode we'll look at a common misunderstanding about God's will. In addition,Gary will read and discuss the daily Mass readings. In the Lord's Prayer, we say the words, "Thy Will Be Done", but do we really mean them? Tune in and let's discuss!

Last week we talked about building legendary teams in the inner game of business, and this week we’re going to talk about how millennials are different, but not as different as companies think.
There continues to be so much hubbub about millennials taking over the world of work, with lots of research around it, but unfortunately no one is taking the time or making the plans to manage them.
It’s like businesses are playing the anthropologists, watching from afar, taking notes but avoiding interaction at all costs — until, of course, they have to hire them — millennials are expected to make up 75 percent of the workforce by 2025.
There are many myths about millennials that abound, however, that should be addressed sooner rather than later, according to new research conducted by Oxford Economics, commissioned by Successfactors/SAP.
Join TalentCulture #TChat Show co-creator and co-host Meghan M. Biro as we learn more about why we misunderstand millennials and how we should change that with this week’s guests: Jacob Morgan, author of “The Future of Work” and Co-Founder of Chess Media Group; Dr. Karie Willyerd, SVP Learning & Social Adoption at SuccessFactors, an SAP Company; and Christa Manning, Senior Vice President of Research at Horses for Sources (HfS).

On March 1, 2004, Shuvender (Shubi) Sem, at the Maharishi University, stabbed another student in the face with a pen during a class. Told by university staff that he did not require medical attention, the injured student drove himself to the hospital where he received seven stitches. University officials consulted a psychologist and decided that Sem would have to leave the university-but didn't report the incident to police. Sem didn't appear dangerous or agitated and was taken by Joel Wysong, the school's dean of men, to his on-campus apartment until he could take a flight home the next morning. Left unattended, Sem took a paring knife from Wysong's kitchen and went to the university's dining hall. Wysong followed and watched while Sem interacted with other students, but did not take him back into custody. Ten minutes later and without provocation, Sem stabbed another student, freshman Levi Butler, four times in the chest, killing him.
Sem, who was a diagnosed schizophrenic, reportedly had been off his medication for months at the time of the murder. After initially being declared incompetent, Sem was subsequently deemed competent to stand trial. The judge ruled Sem not guilty by reason of insanity.
Murder and Misunderstanding offers unparalleled insight into the experience of paranoid schizophrenia.
Sem's strained relationship with his father ultimately set in motion a chain of events which led to his downward spiral. He began to have auditory hallucinations and wrestled with schizophrenia for years, falling further into madness and then-murder. MURDER AND MISUNDERSTANDING-ONE MAN'S ESCAPE FROM INSANITY-Shubi Sem

When a Client Asks a Private Investigator to Do Something Illegal?It’s a common, media-driven misconception about private investigators: that they either can obtain private information or that they are willing to break the law in order to get it. Many people do not realize that there are laws surrounding audio and video surveillance, obtaining text message and phone records, accessing bank statements and/or IRS information, medical records, and using GPS trackers ( IN NH, it is illegal to obtain Registration information)EXPLAIN!!!!. Even less understand that these regulations can vary by state. In a recent discussion, we discussed the challenge in being asked to break the law by clients and whether it’s wise to, a) Educate the client and continue working with them, b) Sever ties completely, or c) Try to find a way to legally obtain the information.A number of points were raised, including the economic hardships some private investigators face, the negative effect this scenario can have on one’s reputation, and the public’s perception of members of the profession. Regardless, most investigators share that illegal requests are a common occurrence, largely due to media-based misconceptions, a misunderstanding of what is and is not legal, and, in some scenarios, the potential client looking to obtain the information by any means possible.Refusing to Work With the client
This is a re run of Mark's chat with Elsie earlier this year.
Elsie Spittle has been an internationally recognized trainer and consultant for almost four decades. She is one of the few people who knew Sydney Banks, originator of the Three Principles, before he had his profound insight, and who stuck by him, despite her own early strong resistance.
Elsie had the privilege of receiving “on the job” training directly from Mr. Banks, travelling with him to address mental health practitioners, educators, and others seeking a deeper understanding of life.
Since then, Elsie has been invited to consult with all levels of executives and employees in the corporate world, and has been instrumental in transforming disadvantagedcommunities. She has worked with staff and youth in juvenile justice settings, as well as with individuals via coaching and retreats, and is co-founder of the Three Principles School, dedicated to sharing the integrity and purity of the Principles for the benefit of future generations.
Elsie is the author of 3 books: Beyond Our Imagination – A New Reality Awaits, 2013;
Our True Identity. . . Three Principles, 2010;
and Wisdom for Life, 2005.
