The Allah Team Radio presents: The History of the NOI Series

The History of the Nation of Islam in Milwaukee (Muhammad's Mosque #3)

Interview with Milwaukee NOI Pioneer since 1949 BRADY X. MCKINLEY

In the early days of Islam in America (1930 - 1934), Master Fard Muhammad and the Hon. Elijah Muhammad (founders of the Nation of Islam) established Mosque #1 (Detroit, MI) and Mosque #2 (Chicago, IL), then they traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to further the expansion of the Nation of Islam outside of its first two cities, Detroit and Chicago and established their last Temple together Mosque #3 (Milwaukee).

In 1949, Brady X. McKinley joined the NOI in Milwaukee under Minister Baker X and became a Field Minister for the Hon. Eiijah Muhammad. In those days there were only 5 Temples in America, and Bro. Brady spent a lot of time with the Hon. Elijah Muhammad in Chicago at his house as well as many sessions held at Temple #2 Grocery Store and Restaurant.

Mixing with the early pioneers of the NOI such as Min. Lucius Bey (DC), Min. Asbury (Cincinnati) Min. Sultan Muhammad (NY), Min. James Shabazz (CHI), Min. Lemuel Hassan (DET), Supreme Captain Raymond Sharrieff, Sis. Clara Muhammad and the brothers and sisters and children of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, Bro. Brady X gained a vast experience in the teachings.

He also spent a lot of time with Minister Malcolm X and his Brothers Wilfred, Philbert and Reginald who were instrumental in building the Nation of Islam in the Midwest.

Tune in as Bro. Brady X. McKinley walk us through this most powerful history of Milwaukee and Mosque No. 3 and his firsthand experiences as a Pioneer of the Nation of Islam!

With co-hosts Wakeel Allah and David Muhammad

THE DON NICOLEONE SHOW AIRS MONDAY - FRIDAY 12 NOON EST ON WGAG RADIO!!

    CALL IN NUMBER 1.347.884.9239

The Bucks played their best game of the season last Saturday against the Cavaliers when they held off the Eastern Conference champs in double overtime to snap Cleveland's eight-game win streak. Guards Jerryd Bayless and Michael Carter-Williams led the charge for Milwaukee with 17 points apiece, whileLeBron James did his best to rally Cleveland in the overtime periods and finished with 37 points and 12 rebounds. The biggest problem for Cleveland was a season-high 20 turnovers. Will they be able to protect the rock and pay back the Bucks for this defeat tonight at home?
