    Tonight on Post Time with Mike and Mike we will have the 1st Annual Post Time with Mike and Mike year end awards nominations!  The categories for this years awards are Race Call of the Year, Iron Horse of the Year, Small Stable of the Year, Horsewoman of the Year, Race Fan of the Year, and Upset of the Year.  Voting will begin at the end of the show tonight!

    Andrea Walker, the Founder and CEO of iROC, Mompreneur, HIV/AIDS Activist, Philanthropist and Author will be joining us to talk about her organization iROC, which emphasizes HIV/AIDS awareness, community outreach and testing.  We will also talk about her book, "A Beautiful Struggle" and her role as a Mompreneur.


    Andrea Walker is a Mompreneur, HIV/AIDS Activist, Philanthropist and Author who crawled out of the depths of abyss to being one of Philadelphia’s reigning women of entrepreneurship. Walker is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of iROC, a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. The new Author penned her first novel, A Beautiful Struggle while just a teenager as a means of coping. Currently Andrea serves as a mentor to young girls, curates events for several organizations in Philadelphia, and advises many of the top millennial minded, thought leaders in the tri-state area.

She later segued to Black radio holding numerous positions, and in 1989 she joined Def Jam Recordings as a regional marketing rep. Within one year Walker was promoted to National Director of Promotion. The Sr. National Director position soon followed and positioned Walker to be instrumental in launching the careers of Redman, Method Man, Onyx, Montell Jordan, Ashanti, Sisqo and Foxy Brown!


    Making the move to New York City in 1997, Walker was named Vice President of Promotion for Def Jam. A year later, after restructuring the company’s promotions department and its field staff, Walker was named Sr. Vice President. During her tenure, her team successfully marketed Def Comedy Jam, Phat Farm clothing, Russell Simmons' co-produced movies, "The Nutty Professor,” Jackie Chan’s “Rush Hour 1 and 2” plus several #1 Gold and Platinum albums from Jay-Z, Sisqo, Kelly Price, Ashanti, Ja Rule, DMX, LL Cool J, Musiq, Dru Hill and others.

Yolanda began her career with the Central Intelligence Agency after graduating from Hampton University with a BS in Business Management. With a new lease on life, Yolanda rebranded her previous interests into Suite Extensions Salons in order to build a company that reflected her values and commitment to service . Different Dream.     Yolanda started Business Babes to build up and help other women that may have encountered business hardships. Yolanda lives by the creed "Your setback is a setup for a comeback."


    Today, Yolanda's portfolio includes real estate development, business coaching, public speaking engagements, and a private label cosmetics development company. In addition to growing Suite Extensions salons to two locations in PA and VA, Yolanda also owns Pink Label Beauty, a luxury hair care brand and is a partner with Girls Auto Clinic.
