We are fortunate today to have three authors on The G-ZONE! Michele Huey & Brittany Valentine start the show off at 12.30 and then Sherri Rabinowitz takes care of the back half of the hour!
Here is a little bit about each author:
A writer with a passion for teaching and speaking, Michele Huey writes an award-winning weekly newspaper column, God, Me, and a Cup of Tea, which placed second in the 2009 Pennsylvania Newspaper Association's Keystone Press Awards. Two compilations of these columns have been published as devotional books. Her work has appeared in numerous anthologies and national publications.
Her daily radio program, God, Me, and a Cup of Tea, aired on stations in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Alabama for 10 years. She writes devotionals on assignment for Pathways to God and is a former newspaper feature writer, photographer, and editor.
Her debut novel, The Heart Remembers, has enjoyed 5-star reviews on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and Goodreads. Her second novel, Before I Die, and her short story series, Fifth Wheel, are also published by Helping Hands Press.
An inspiring speaker, Michele is a member of Advanced Writers and Speakers Association and serves as pulpit supply for a small, local congregation, which she calls her "little flock."
Sherri has been writing since she was a small child. She was inspired by Ray Bradbury and Agatha Christie. She had always loved writing but has had to make a living in a varied number of ways. She worked as an actress, a travel agent and in several forms of customer service. Her passion though has always been writing. She loves and enjoys both reading and writing fan fiction. Fantasy Time Inc. was nominated for The Global eBook Award!

In fact you can call in and join the conversation which really makes it fun. Today, September 27th, we'll be talking about corporal punishment. Were you ever "whupped" with a "switch?" Was it effective? With the recent news about Adrian Peterson allegedly beating his son with a “tree branch, this issue of to "whip or not to whip" is here again. Were you disciplined with a switch or belt as a child? Do you discipline your own children that way? We will have school psychologist Brian Apollo back with us to discuss the effects of corporal punishment on children.
We know you have a lot to do this weekend, so why not start off your Saturday with some friends over coffee. And you never know who will show up.....
