Toyota RAV4 Presents Going Places Radio: Meagan Good
Who knew mega-hottie Meagan Good had producing chops to boot? When chatting with Film Festival Radio host Janice Malone, the veteran actress fills us in on the fate of her first indie flick, in which she also stars. “Miles from Home is this crazy film that one of my best friends, Ty Hodges, brought to me. He thought it was a character that I hadn’t done before. And I fell in love with the project,” she says. It sheds light on teenage prostitution— what happens to the kid who comes from a broken home, whose parents can’t take care of him but he’s not the kind of kid who can sell drugs but still has to live. It turned out well, and now has a cult following. So my plan is to do many, many more films like this.”

Most of us in the U.S. have an idea of what yoga is, something to do with hot, sweaty classes, acrobatic poses and having the best booty ever, however, there is so much more to the vast, comprehensive tradition of yoga than the physical practice, known as hatha yoga. Meagan breaks down what yoga actually is and explains how the practice has evolved in modern culture. She also address the most common excuse for not practicing – I’m not flexible enough to do yoga – and why not all yoga is created equal.
If you thought yoga teachers were just spiritual hippies, all rainbows and butterflies, guess again. Meagan will prove to you why she and her collueges are some of the most knowledgable and educated professionals in the health and fitness industry.
