Is there a connection between generosity and physical and emotional health? Is there a moral case for generosity? Is generosity linked to the amount given or something else? What is the difference between Spenders, Savers and Servants? How much do people actually contribute? Do we really get joy from generosity? What are some of the biggest challenges we face as Americans in attempting to become more generous? Are riches an injustice to the poor? John Cortines answers these questions and more when he chats with Jeannie and Maxine. If your goal is to be more generous, join us!
Maxine Brown began singing as a child, performing with two New York gospel groups. In 1960, she signed with the smal Nomar Record label, who released the smooth soul ballad "All in My Mind" (which was written by Maxine) late in the year. The single became a hit, climbing to number two on the R&B charts (19 on the Pop charts), and it was quickly followed by "Funny", which peaked at number three. She had later hits with a new label (Wand Records) with works by Carole King and Gerry Geffin ("Oh No, Not my Baby"). A great discussion about the 60's music world from a female perspective.

He will be focusing in particular on communication issues and social attitudes towards children who have this disability.
Safdar argues that society should have a more positive and supportive attitude towards Down syndrome and not to be so ready to write off children with this condition
“We should refrain from assessing these children through their disorder or infirmity and we should be on our toes to take these children on our radar. Society has great obligation towards these children. How can we write them off? They are our children and they are one of us. How can we draw a barrier against these children? As able-bodied people, we should provide the opportunities so that they meet the challenges of life in a milder manner. If they are able to stand up, and become functional in society “

We often hear of the various encounters that women face in their daily lives. In their search for who they are..what they were designed to do.....their purpose..WHO THEY ARE IN CHRIST! Could it be because in many churches? The majority of the congregation is women??
But what are the men going through? What are THEIR THOUGHTS and concerns? Who BETTER to lead this discussion that the Praise and Worship Leader for Pastor John P Kee (New Life Church in Charlotte, NC) than the MINISTER OF MUSIC ICON HIMSELF....Shawn Bigby
Shawn will be EDUCATING US on the trails and tribulations of MEN on "BonaFide Talk"!!
