We are Grand River Paranormal and Paranormal Forum with Matt and Melissa. We discuss everything from the strange to the unusual. Our interests is in asking the importantant questions and seeking the answers to such questions from the paranormal to UFO's, cryptozoology, ghost hunting, techniques, technology, networking, mentoring, personal experiences ect... This week we will be discussing some upcoming events and talking about what was experienced and captured on location during our preliminary investigations. We would love to hear from you as well on any personal experiences you may have had with the paranormal or what you may have captured while investigating a location. Make sure that you tune in this week. We have lots to talk about.
Very few artists successfully cross back and forth from jazz to classical and back again: Wynton Marsalis, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Keith Jarrett, Brad Mehldau and Arturo Sandoval come to mind. But now add to the list Dallas vocalist Damon K. Clark. Already acclaimed for his unusual sensitivity, versatility and virtuosity, Clark is as much at home with Thelonius Monk’s “’Round Midnight” as he is with Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma.” The mellifluous tenor minimizes the aesthetic distance between the classical and jazz worlds.
Although Clark has performed in Europe, all over the United States, and in many venues in Dallas, including the Winspear Opera House, he considers Oak Cliff’s Kessler Theater to be his artistic home. In fact, his debut CD is entitled, Damon K. Clark Live at the Kessler Volume I. The CD includes a stellar cast supporting musicians including Caleb McCampbell, Asher Barreras, Justin Heaverin and Neeki Bey.
While his tessitura and timbre could be described as Bobby McFerrin-esque, his approach to the material is unique. Clark’s scatting in particular exhibits a classical precision, while hinting at his affection for Ella Fitzgerald’s and Mel Tormé’s improvisational skills. Clark’s take on the Gershwins’ “They All Laughed” is a highlight, showcasing his astonishing range, playful scatting, melismatic mastery and elastic phrasing.
After some time away, Captain Lou and Matt are back and we have plenty to talk about. We will give you our Power Top Tens in the NFL, the highs and lows of the NFL and NCAA, plus what is going on with the MLB playoffs as well as our opinions on what is going on in Ann Arbor. Call in at 661-554-9193 at 10pm ET. Are you ready for a rant tonight? Here it comes.
We will be talking this week about personal experiences and the paranormal. What have you experienced? Was it negative in nature? Have you experienced anything demonic and how did you deal with it. Have you experienced a UFO or alien encounter. We will also be talking myths and local legends. We hope to hear from the skeptics, believers and investigators. We will also be talking about our upcoming events. We hope to see you all there to help support paranormal unity and help support our local communities. These will be charity events hosted by Grand River Paranormal, The Sloan Museum and The William Peters Mansion.
Join us this week for a chance to meet the team of Grand River Paranormal as we invistigate live at a very haunted undisclosed location. We are interested in hearing from both new and experienced teams and anyone who has an interest in the paranormal. What are your theories and ideas? What sort of process and procedures do you use? What kinds of new equipment are you experimenting with in the field? How do you go about obtaining and gathering your research? We want to offer a show in which people can share ideas and network with other teams. We invite you to share your evidence, your research and your personal experiences. We have some announcements this week that you will not want to miss. We will see you monday 10/6/2014 at 8pm.

Three popular Canadian Country artists join me on this episode of In The Country to talk about their music careers and share their latest radio singles.
Music has always been an undeniable passion for Cobourg, Ontario's MATT WILLIAMS for as long as he can remember. “I remember from a very early age singing in the stands at baseball games with my mother”. Years later it was a Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers concert that influenced him to pursue a career in music. “As soon as the lights went down I was hooked.” Matt's latest single is called Make Love Tonight and features Peterborough Country artist Alyssa Morrissey.
Mississauga, Ontario's KAITLIN KOZELL was one of the top eight finalists in the Emerging Artist Showcase at the 2014 Boots & Hearts music festival. Since being added to the roster of Leafs anthem singers in the late fall of 2011 and performing at her first game in January of 2012, Kaitlin has had the opportunity to perform at numerous Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies, and other MLSE events and functions. Kaitlin's new single is called Heart Of This Home.
TEAGAN LITTLECHIEF is a country artist from the White Bear First Nations north of Carlyle, Saskatchewan. At the age of 4 her play school teacher overheard her singing Part Of Your World from Little Mermaid and encouraged her mother Sara to put her in vocal lessons. Those lessons were the beginning of a lifetime filled with the love of music, which her mother Sara has stood behind and supported every step of the way. Radio was first introduced to Teagan in 2009 with her album entitled Rising Above. Teagan's latest single is called I'll Bring The Party.
