01:58TS Radio: Conservatorship hell...the story of Danny Tate
Danny Tate is a successful singer/songwriter who was conserved in an ex-parte hearing in Judge Randy Kennedy’s court in Nashville, TN. (Judge Kennedy is the only probate judge in that county --- so all probate matters go through him.) Danny wasn’t given notice of the hearing and Kennedy put him in a “temporary conservatorship” --- a court-ordered hell (to quote an article that was written about the case) that lasted for 2.5 years. Danny was “freed” in 2010 but not really – the conservatorship has kept an ugly hold on Danny’s finances to this day.
It’s a Ripleys Believe it or Not type of case because not only did the conservatorship consume Danny’s over $2 mil estate, it plunged him into spiraling debt. Last year, the court ordered Danny’s home to be auctioned off to pay the ravenous lawyers – and guess who bought it? Danny’s own former lawyer – and at a very reduced rate.
Danny is unique because most victims of guardianship abuse are elderly and unable to speak up. Danny’s a walking, talking survivor – and he’s got a lot to say!

Mother is a Wife and a Wife is a Mother
Last week we began our teaching on what a mother was. I told you that a mother is a person who carries and gives birth to a child, then that mother then must care for that child. She must nurture the child as the child grows into adulthood. A mother is a wife; she is the female marriage partner of the man. In reality, this is what a wife is supposed to be, she is to have the role of a mother, which is a nurturing role modle for the family, and then she is to love, and support, meaning giving moral and psychological support, aid, and encouragment to her husband, and their children. She also must establish and strengthens her husband and children mostly through prayer.

Tonight derrel Tate will be speaking to what it was like what happen and what it like now. And the passion to be of maximum service to God and to mann is the eradication of the modern blight and plauge of white slavery.
Born Fort Worth where he lived until age 50. He raised one son who is age 22. Derrell moved to Bozeman MT and got sober again 2.5 yrs. ago. He is on disability and his hobby is backpacking. He sees every conceivable type of wildlife on his adventures What got him into recovery? He spent 10 years in recovery, from age 28 to 38 in the program, then went out for 12 yrs. At age 50 went back to AA to find God. He missed Him. Derrell did 90 meetings in 30 days. The group was his first higher power. He could see that if he had not found God he wouldn't have made it. He now studies the bible and attends Celebrate Recovery and is a follower of Jesus Christ.
