Moline Storms Back Against Alleman
Twitter- @themlbtalk101 www.youtube.com/themlbtalk101 h4-entertainment.com Today, they played a non-conference game versus Alleman and came back to lead 7-5 going into the 5th. Right when everything was going right, Alleman battled back and put pressure on the Maroons defense, which failed to prevail, as a few missed opportunities defensively cost them yet again. Alleman took the lead 8-7 in the 5th and the Maroons are back up to bat in the bottom of the 5th. They have 9 outs left to pull ahead, and are already warming up their closer, Drew Owens. Moments after typing that last sentence, the Maroons let two outs get to them, but started the rally with an error, as Marooner Matt Brill reached base from an errant throw. The events that occurred after were so spectacular, I think they appeared as a blur. Mitch Owens, already 2-2 in today's game worked a walk and his brother Drew got a hit, tieing the game, and after that, it was hit after hit, leaving the score at 10-8, as the Maroons re-took the lead.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE-ASCAC LECTURE--the FULL PRESENTATION
So as many of our regular listeners know, I was given the opportunity to present at this years ASCAC (Association for the Study of Classical Afrikan Civilizations) Conference. My talk was entitled SPIRITUAL WARFARE: RECLAIMING OUR ORIGINAL, AUTHENTIC AFRIKAN SPIRITUALITY BY DETACHING THE AFRIKAN SOUL FROM CHRISTIANITY.
Due to time constraints I was not able to deliver the entire 21 page presentation therefore it was HEAVILY truncated. Tonight, I will give the entire talk. Shortly thereafter, I will take this talk and fuse it with the powerpoint presentation I had & place it on our youtube page, so everyone will have the whole thing & have a nice warehouse of REFERENCED, RESEARCHED information for you, dear listeners, to be able to, as Boukman of the Haitian Revolution told the people of Haiti before they defeated the french, THROW AWAY THE IMAGE OF THE WHITE MAN'S GOD.
I will also share my reflections on the conference as a whole.
This hopefully will be a highly downloaded show.

RESISTANCE TO ENSLAVEMENT PHASE 3 Part 3--On Foreign Soil
MAROON SOCIETIES by Richard Price will be the book of choice tonight to share resistance in the united states.
Maroons, as caucasoids have labelled us, were stolen Afrikans who choose to run away from the plantation system and recreate autonomous Afrikan based societies wherever they were. Some were more successful than others, but the entire aspect of Maroonage has DELIBERATELY been left out of our history books and this aspect of resistance can only properly be told BY US.Tags: maroons resistance autonomous afrikan societies reafrikanization quilombo

Discover Jamaica "One Parish At A Time" Week 12: "Trelawny" Capital Falmouth
This week we celebrate the parish of "Trelawny",
capital Falmouth. Rich in interesting history, Trelawny was home to the largest group of Maroons in the island. A 1739 treaty between the Maroons and the English gave the Maroons freedom and land, which effectively put a stop to their raids on the plantations. However, a second Maroon uprising in 1795, led to over 600 Maroons being exiled to Nova Scotia, Canada and later to Sierra Leone in Africa in 1800. Queen Nanny: Ruler of Jamaica's Maroon Community
This week the story of Queen Nanny will be our topic. She was born in the Ivory Coast, where she was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Jamaica. She was the leader of the Windward Maroons, and has largely been ignored by historians. Amongst the Maroons themselves she is held in the highest esteem. Biographical information on Queen Nanny is somewhat vague, with her being mentioned only four times in written historical texts and usually in somewhat derogatory terms. She was the spiritual, cultural
