1957. Sycamore, Illinois. Christmas was three weeks away, and seven-year-old Maria Ridulph went out to play. Soon after, a figure emerged out of the falling snow. He was very friendly. Minutes later, Maria vanished, leaving behind an abandoned doll and footsteps in the snow.
In April, a spring thaw gave up Maria’s body in a nearby wooded area. The case attracted national attention, including that of the FBI and President Eisenhower. In all, seventy-four men and three women fell under suspicion. But no one was ever charged with the crime.
Incredibly, fifty-five years later, the coldest case in the history of American jurisprudence would be reopened. It happened after a seventy-four-year-old former neighbor of the Ridulphs named Eileen Tessier made a stunning deathbed confession to her family about a dark past, and a darker secret they knew nothing about. Two families would be joined by despair and retribution, and in an astounding turn of events, Maria Ridulph’s killer would finally be brought to justice. FOOTSTEPS IN THE SNOW-One Shocking Crime. Two Shattered Families. And the Coldest Case in U.S. History-Charles Lachman

Using his extensive business and sales leadership experience, Steve Hall’s developed an interactive training program based on his real-world success and the Sandler Training programs. Steve’s training focus on the power of reinforcement, role-play and real life examples to increase his clients’ success. These are not one-shot seminars, but planned frequent training modules designed to take the sales team through the techniques necessary to avoid the traditional Buyer/Seller dance, prospect more efficiently and create a formal plan to logically follow the sales path to a decision. His unique benchmarking and assessment tools can save businesses tens of thousands of dollars in lost performance or bad hiring decisions.
Steve conducts both “public” and private engagements with his clients. He utilizes a training center in Annapolis, MD for his “public” clients, and also works directly with companies one-to-one at their business, via video teleconferencing or travel. He can be engaged for Sales Meetings, keynote speeches or one-on-one coaching.

At The Romance Bookmark, we celebrate all three and tonight we do that with Award-winning Author Heather Snow! www.heathersnowbooks.com It's been a while since we were lucky enough to catch her and as we catch up and just "hang out". One of my favorite things to do on a bad day is pull up Heather's site, read the great reviews her books have gotten and get re-inspired that great books still happen and that generous and talented authors like Heather Snow are still writing them.
