That’s where midlife coach, Maria Allyn, comes in. Maria focuses on helping women 45 – 65 to get clear on what they want, eliminate barriers that are stopping them and provide them with the tools to create the life of their dreams.
If you want strategies and resources to make the most of this time in your own life, you won’t want to miss this show!
This week's Travel Today with Peter Greenberg comes from one of the cooler hotels on the planet—Quirk Hotel in Richmond, Virginia. Originally a dry goods store, the Quirk Hotel is not only a great restoration project but also an amazing art gallery. Joining Peter will be Chris Semtner, Curator at the Edgar Allan Poe Museum, will fill us in on the connection of Edgar Allan Poe and his ties to Richmond—as wells as what one can expect when visiting the museum.
Then, Maureen Egan, Author and Co-Owner of the Real Richmond Food Tours, will discuss how the “capital of confectionary” ties in with Richmond’s food scene and Karrie Peifer, Editor and Senior Food Writer for Richmond Times-Dispatch/Richmond.com, will report on the busy Richmond restaurant scene. There’s all of this and more on this week’s Travel Today with Peter Greenberg.
So many things are going on in this world; many of us tend to give in and simply cope to exist.
Do not allow your circumstance to become your stagnant waters, surrounding you with the parasites of lies, lesions of letting not letting go and the stench of decay from not knowing when to walk away.
This weeks INspiration:
“Have you entered into the springs of the sea, or walked in the recesses of the deep?
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’”

“God closes a door and then opens a window,” people sometimes say when dealing with their own disappointment or someone else’s. That was certainly true in Marguerite’s case. Children from European as well as Native American backgrounds in seventeenth-century Canada benefited from her great zeal and unshakable trust in God’s providence.
Marguerite at the age of 20 believed that she was called to religious life. Her applications to the Carmelites and Poor Clares were unsuccessful.
In 1654, the governor of the French settlement in Canada invited her to come to Canada and start a school in Ville-Marie.
Soon after starting a school, she realized her need for coworkers. Returning to Troyes, she recruited a friend, Catherine Crolo, and two other young women. In 1667 they added classes at their school for Indian children. A second trip to France three years later resulted in six more young women and a letter from King Louis XIV, authorizing the school.
Marguerite established a school for Indian girls in Montreal. At the age of 69, she walked from Montreal to Quebec in response to the bishop’s request to establish a community of her sisters in that city. By the time she died, she was referred to as the “Mother of the Colony.” Marguerite was canonized in 1982.
