Death is the only life event that happens without fail...to every one of us. Yet, it remains the last great American taboo. Talk show guests will make the most intimate revelations about their personal lives without batting an eye, but the subject of death and dying (something that WILL happen to us all) remains an uncomfortable subject.
Everyone knows that death is an absolute certainty and from an intellectual perspective most people think planning one's passing is a smart idea.
In fact, a recent Washingon Post interview revealed that while 90% of Americans believe that death planning is a good idea. However, less than 10% of Americans actually have a plan in place for the end of their lives.
Financial planner, columnist, and end of life expert Christopher Hill joins Teresa to discuss how and why death planning is so critical to your peace of mind and the well-being of your loved ones.
Everyone needs to learn how to successfully plan for the inevitable. You don't want to miss this show!

Filmmaker and spiritual explorer Marie Rose Phan-Le takes us on a fascinating adventure into the world of healing, shamanism, plant medicine, and divination with her award-winning documentary and book, Talking Story: One Woman's Quest to Preserve Ancient Spiritual and Healing Traditions. Talking Story documents author Marie-Rose Phan-Lê's worldwide journey to find healing and truth from authentic mystics and shamans, while recording their disappearing traditions and discovering her own gift as a healer. Learning that many indigenous cultures were on the verge of losing their medicinal plants, healing traditions, and spiritual knowledge as a result of habitat destruction, cultural assimilation, and globalization, she travels to Peru, Hawaii, Vietnam, Tibet, Nepal, India and China, meeting with healers and shamans and documenting their practices.
In the midst of Marie-Rose's exploration, she begins to connect with her own healing roots, following in the footsteps of her aunt who in Vietnam had been a healer. Once back in the U.S., Phan-Lê's spiritual development continues to be a medium for healing.
Marie-Rose has more than twenty years experience in films and television production. She is the founder and president of Healing Planet Project, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation & presentation of ancient healing.

Someone said to me today the protest needs to go from Ferguson to Capital Hill, because that is the only way we can get justice for Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Phillip Pannell, Charal "Rah Rah" Thomas, Jermaine Darden, Michael Bell, Amadou Diallo, Oscar Grant, Jon Ferrell, Alan Blueford, Chavis Carter, Sean Bell, Tim Stansbury, Ezell Ford, Ramarley Graham, Dane Scott, Patrick Dorismond, Wendell Allen, Victor Steen, Kendrec McDade, Kimane Gray, Armand Bennett, Derrick Williams, Ousmane Zongo, John Crawford, Jonny Gammage, Gus Rugley and the countless others that did not make it into the headlines. The reason we see officer after officer being "no billed" for these murders is because our lawmakers have not drafted a bill that addresses police brutality in a way that makes police accountable for killing innocent suspects.
