Are you stressed out? Do you have chronic pain?  Have you had issues with Infertility?  Would you like to simply hear what your body is telling you?

Did you know the most common approaches to stress management just don’t work? Find out why on the call and what you can do to Reboot instead.

In our society, we normally rely on the medical professional to tell us what's wrong and treat the symptoms.

What if patients inherently know what the problem is, know how it got there, and know what treatment will work?

This would be a paradigm shift of societal structure at a fundamental level of awareness

"Symptoms are seen as the cause...The body is viewed as the victim of symptoms it has little responsibility for.  The 2 factions (body and symptoms) are seen at war and separate rather than instrinically interconnected and dependent on a greater consciousness and desire for real change."  Dr Bolliger

How can we assist clients and patients to take an empowered approach in order for the body to find homeostasis and experience maximum well-being?

Join us at Tuesday October 28th at 12:30pm EST for a great conversation.  Discover the secrets to a life with less pain, more ease and lots more energy.

Center of Light Radio Show with guest Rod Roddy of LeRoux

    in Spirituality

Center of Light Radio Show with host, Keith Anthony Blanchard

Show Topic: I will speaking with Rod Roddy of Louisiana's LeRoux.

In 1978 a rock group was formed out of the Levee Band. They were best-known for songs like  "Nobody Said It Was Easy" or "Lookin' For the Lights" (their highest charting single), "Addicted," "Carrie's Gone," "Take a Ride On a Riverboat" with its 4-part a capella intro and the regional smash "New Orleans Ladies."

Their early music, combined many elements such as funk, R&B, Dixieland jazz, rock, and some Cajun flavoring, thus defying a pigeonhole into one definable category, like many other diverse Louisiana artists common to an area known for its many musical influences and tastes. After recording the album Up in 1980, they became a noteworthy exponent of the developing AOR sound.

Born in Houma, Louisiana, (a renowned pianist), Rod Roddy was a huge inspiration in the music of his band. His funky rhythm and incredible improvisation skills were a key ingredient in the musical textures that gave Louisiana's LeRoux its unique sound.

HR Happy Hour 180 - 'Putting People First' (Live from Ultimate Connections 2014)

    Recorded Thursday, April 10, 2014

    Hosts: Steve Boese, Trish McFarlane

Guest: Cecile Alper-Leroux, Vice President of Product Strategy, Ultimate Software

Last week Steve and Trish were able to attend Ultimate Software's Annual Connections User Conference in Las Vegas and sit down with Cecile Alper-Leroux to get an update on some of the exciting developments and happenings at Ultimate Software as well as talk about some of the ways that putting People First - in software design, in the approach to talent management, and how that leads to the best outcomes for both individuals and organizations is the key to sustained success.

Ultimate Software, across their thousands of customers, supports over 15 million people records in the cloud. Cecile shared with us one of the primary considerations that Ultimate takes into account when building software for so many people - the almost radically different expectations people have in their relationship with any technology. People's personal lives are filled with technologies that are adaptive, responsive, fun, engaging, and are also simple to use. Cecile shared the key things to consider: provide user value, hook users in early with a great experience, and be useful and help them get their jobs done.

This was a really fun and interesting show and I encourage you to give it a listen

Protect Your Identity This Tax Season

    in Finance

It’s that time of year again…tax season, and according to the IRS, tax-related scams increase during this time of year. Phishing is one of the most common scams during tax season. Fraudsters might attempt to lure unsuspecting tax payers to a fraudulent website by distributing an official-looking email purportedly from the IRS. Once on the website, the unsuspecting taxpayer would be asked to divulge personal and financial information, such as a Social Security number, checking account information or a credit card number.

Another common phishing scam that is widespread during tax season is a, “You’re eligible to receive a federal tax refund for the amount of…” Again, the fraudster will send out a fraudulent email purportedly from the IRS, directing the unsuspecting recipient to a fraudulent website, where they’ll be asked to complete a form to submit the tax refund request. And again, the unsuspecting taxpayer will be asked for personal and financial information.

The IRS cautions consumers that it does not use email to initiate contact with taxpayers, unfortunately, not everyone heeds the warning. On today’s episode of Your Money, Your Matters, join radio personalities Linda Webb-Manon and Rick Grady, Cornerstone Credit Union League; Courtney Moran, Cornerstone Credit Union Foundation, and Todd Mark, Consumer Credit Counseling Services as we talk about how to guard and protect your most precious personal and financial information this tax season.
