FULL COURT PRESS is the creative vision of A&R Executive Shannon “Slam” Ridley who, as a father to twin boys, was looking for ways to inspire and encourage them. “With over a decade of successes at Bad Boy Records, I understand the power of hip-hop on American culture. My only problem was there was nothing on the radio that I could listen to with my children. The lyrics are totally contrary to what I'm teaching in my home. I thought it would be really cool if I could enjoy listening to Hip-Hop with my children the way we enjoy an NBA game!” With that Full Court Press was born. “Why not make an clean, inspiring, Hip-Hop Album combining the world’s greatest basketball players & rappers. NO disrespecting women, NO curse words, NO "N" word, NO glorification of drug use, while keeping the integrity of the music with hard driving tracks.”

BAGHDAD — Kurdish fighters opened offensives against Islamic State militants in several parts of northern Iraq on Tuesday, seizing control of a border crossing with Syria that has been a major conduit for the insurgents, officials said.
Islamic State, also known as ISIS, had controlled Rabia since early June, when jihadist fighters swept across the border from Syria and quickly overwhelmed Iraqi security forces throughout the region, including in Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city. (Sourced from The New York Times)

Idris Bolton- Relationship Coach, Speaker 7:15pm
Idris Muhammad Bolton was born in the city of Philadelphia. He was raised in a single parent home by his father. As a young teenager Idris spent the majority of his time home alone, which left him to make decisions on his own. This was due to his father having to work unruly hours to provide for him and his son. As time went on, like many teen boys today, Idris began to engage with young girls, but this was the norm at his age.
Idris graduated from Simon Gratz High School in 2006. Soon after, Idris was confronted by his father and pushed into manhood at the age 17. He was told it was time for him to become a man and make his own way and own money. Being propelled into the world Idris worked a few mundane jobs. Soon after, he realized that he wanted more and if he was going to get it he needed to step out and take a chance.
