    The VA Today

    in Politics

In February, the new secretary, Robert A. McDonald, asserted in a nationally televised interview that the department had fired 60 people involved in manipulating wait times to make it appear that veterans were receiving care faster than they were. In fact, the department quickly clarified after that interview, only 14 people had been removed from their jobs, while about 60 others had received lesser punishmentsNow, new internal documents show that the real number of people removed from their jobs is much smaller still: at most, three.New York Times

On the morning of July 7, 2014 her home in Diamond Bar was raided by police because they were growing marijuana. Ms. O’Brien was held in jail for five days and her children were taken by CPS.

Although they have gotten their children back, she and her husband, Rick Gromoll have been charged with illegal cultivation with their next court date set for April 23 in Pomona. As the show’s first guests, Laprill and Rick will reveal the horrors that happened that day, how it has affected their family and how their court case is proceeding.

Wondering whether the VA directive stating veterans who use medicinal marijuana should not be kick out of their pain management programs is being implemented? Then meet Ken Whitemire, a veteran receiving services from the Loma Linda VA Hospital for chronic pain related to service connected injuries to his back and neck. He had been kicked out of his pain management program because of his use of medicinal marijuana.

On Monday, March 30 he went back to his pain management doctor with the new directive in hand and became the first medical marijuana veteran to be reinstated into a pain management program as a result of the new directive. What happened when Ken confronted his VA doctor is remarkable, astounding and ever so invigorating.

The VA Secretary Robert A. McDonald And Man Lands Aircraft On Capital Lawn

    in Current Events

Welcome to this episode of Disabled Veteran Radio todays topics - Veterans Administration Secretary Robert A. McDonald states that the reason I had a grease gun stuck up my ass on The U.S.S. Abraham Lincoln CVN 72 in November of 1989 is beacuse I was drunk ! What a Gosh Darn Lie !

Also a Reporter who did a story on me back in 2007 Ben Montgomery from Tampa Bay Times. He is now all over the news because he was privy to the 61 one year old Doug Hughes mail man out of Riverview, Florida who just landed his protest gyrocopter packed with 535 letters addressed to U.S. Capitol to draw attention to campaign fiance reform. I am trying to get Americas attention to tell you how The Veterans Administration is still cooking the books and how they will not fully compensate Disabled Veterans that were misdiagnosed with personality disorder which made thousands miss out on Veterans Benefits for years. The correct Diagnoses on the Date Of Disacharge should have been P T S D resulting in a Disability Rating. If you care about this important topic and can help me raise $5,000 dollars by 5/1/15 then log into http://www.billapgar.com and donate today :) Thank You Bill Apgar Host Of Disabled Veteran Radio and 100% Disabled Veteran
